What kind of society we want?

in #informationwar5 years ago

There are those who preach a classist and segregational speech. They are rarely heard in person, obviously for fear of the (justified) moral (and even legal) judgment that may cost them. Many others believe that social welfare is to blame for the lack of development opportunities.

Luckily, social assistance amounts to 2% of GDP. Insignificant.

In spite of being a discussion that has already been concluded all over the world I see positive the analysis to avoid disinformation and the culture of hatred created by those who manipulate public opinion.

The clueless must be prevented from falling into the discursive traps of hate activism. Because humanity will eventually win and those who today parasitize the peoples of the world will be judged for what they are: infamous criminals against humanity.

A silent genocide is taking place. We don't see it. We live in opulence, with hot water, electricity and internet in a telephone.

Exiles, migrants escaping bombardments and wars are seen and treated like garbage.

People who lost everything in the hands of those who have everything.

Without any shame, the media apply a phenomenal communicational armour. We all end up talking about Maduro's supposed tyranny. Venezuelans from Twitter demand to be exterminated by the giant in the north.

The humanitarian crisis is in afrika, my Venezuelan friends, in Iran, Palestine and Syria. They can't make picaresque comments on twitter, more than anything because they're being killed.

Only you can change your destiny, if you don't like Maduro, you have to insist, persist and resist. No need of violence.

The greatest victory of capitalist discourse is to have installed the idea that the poor are to blame for all ills. When it is not the poor, it are the politicians. But the truth is that nobody talks about the real one to blame.

The tentacles of international financial power constantly push for the economic, political, cultural and territorial control of sovereign nations.

We see reality on youtube.

It is not bad in itself. Amateur journalism is a detoxifying oasis. A breath of oxygen.

It is not enough but it has its advantages. It creates an accessible alternative so as not to fall into the agenda imposed by CNN. With a few honourable exceptions, journalists are only mercenaries of communication. They do not contribute with data or information, they only create a story based on the thin air.

The average citizen, who works all day, wants only to be informed.

They arrive tired, turn on the TV, open a beer and sit on the sofa. He doesn't have the time or the energy to investigate, philosophize or search for material. They shouldn't either, but the reality is that it's imperative to soak up politics and understand history, it keeps repeating itself.

Independent channels have an atmosphere not vitiated by corporatism.

Unfortunately, only a few abandon the amateur format or include academic content in order to support a solid ideological position.

Even so, the innocent analysis of an amateur, over the lies of a mercenary with a microphone, is much better. But we can't ignore the existence of infiltrated youtubers either. Supposed amateur very well scripted that distill poison in the minds of the unsuspecting.

If the media are financed by banks and multinationals, you will only hear information aligned with their interests. It is necessary to make the media financed by society, free but RESPONSIBLE.
