The dairy industy has been hard at work the last 50 years convincing people that pasteurized dairy products such as milk or cheese increases bioavailable calcium levels. This is totally false. The pasteurization process only creates calcium carbonate, which has absolutely no way of entering the cells without a chelating agent. So what the body does is pull the calcium from the bones and other tissues in order to buffer the calcium carbonate in the blood. This process actually causes osteoporosis. Raw milk is for sure better... but logically milk is for babies, there are no species that drinks milk after their few first months/years of their lives - and especially not which of another species.
Actually there is a market for human milk, finding women who eat organic foods and breast feed might be of a challenge though. But the money hunters will stop at nothing. Maybe women who wish to commercialize their own milk will end up swallowing "special hormonal supplements" to produce more milk.

Will bigpharma and the financiers go for human milk at some point, when the tide will have turned against them completely? FDA approved organic human milk soon to a market near you? Not likely as many other alternatives are now available, but who know, it could well become a "market for the rich".

Well, it is not precisely because of "big government" but wealth concentration, and even in the absence of a ruling body, people would still band together to remain in business and strengthen their monopolies. With the government into the picture, they can do so with less worries as they lobby politicians making it easier for them.

yes, exactly. I have been dairy free for almost a year now, and wasnt eating much of it before that... my diet is only wholesome foods and occasionally wild caught fish. To put it simply, 75% of what is sold in supermarkets is making people sick.

Life finds a way. The human genome has recently mutated in a way for adults to be able to consume milk. It is spreading through the population as we speak. Apparently it gives a survival bonus to humans who herd animals that produce milk.
