It is all becoming crystal clear... humans - and Nature - are the commodities and money means just that. There never was any freedom at all but we had to wait for the economic boom after WW2 to see it for what it is. The absolute horror society has trapped itself into and fueled by consumerism.

Actually the picture is so appalling, that blaming others for what is happening does not make that much sense anymore. Yes there are abusers but their bait is a powerful hallucinogenic. For a growing number of people the journey is ending and the Matrix setting in.

Our current system cannot be fixed since it only rewards money creation, regardless of the worthiness of the ideas. And generally bad ideas take the lead because wealth fuels coercion.

Life Energy is the most valued commodity and there is no way back. The only way to undo this is by removing money from the picture. Anyone realizing this can see the century-old pattern taking hold and becoming more obvious by the eras, one after another.

But let's be honest here, would the people have been told this as soon as the first computer was made (because it was already known back then by a few), we would have thwarted the emergence of self-improving algorithms. Anybody grasping that relying on self-improving algorithms requires to give away one's consent, can also see the threat we are faced with.
