One could assume that more people will grow their own plants at home (in Canada 4 plants per household are authorized), but in the long haul, we shouldn't bet on that because more drastic laws are going to eventually be penned to protect the cannabis cartel. Ironically the Canadian black market is booming, and this means that the government will eventually have to start a cannabis drug war on its own soil if truly serious about protecting its own enterprise.

Medical Cannabis Clinics Charge $260 For Appointments And $780 For Prescriptions

March 12, 2019 Britain’s first specialist clinic for medicinal cannabis has opened at The Beeches Consulting Centre in Greater Manchester. If you can afford$260 for an appointment and $780-$915 a month for a private prescription. The clinic said that the service is aimed at people who have who have “exhausted all existing treatment options”.

EC: Desperation often leads people to consider what can endanger them further. Just imagine that you need it for pain management to keep your job because you have a family to feed, but then must pay that much... what gives? Of course there always is the "black market" but not everyone knows a dealer.

However the plan is to set up one of the biggest monopoly ever, and we all should keep our eyes on the ball rolling instead of looking for whatever excuses .

The "it is expensive but saves lives or increases the quality of life" argument is manipulative as it seems to justify the prices. That is why pharmaceuticals and the medical fields got so corrupted.

Colorado Proposes Marijuana Tracking System In New Bill (2018)

Is Colorado about to introduce new scanning technology to track legal cannabis? .... At first glance, this level of technology seems pretty cool. With only a scan, dispensary owners (and law enforcement) would be able to determine the exact origin of a plant or plant by-product. Thus, the scanner would be able to identify whether or not a licensed entity created the products in question. And, therefore, whether or not said products meet legal and industry standards.

And so it started, with a tracking system. The business is booming so much in Colorado that the state wants to ensure profit efficieny and endless growth. Sounds familiar? When going down that road, the people always lose their freedom, -- well the very few freedoms they have left.

But of course, we also need to consider the potential downsides of this proposed cannabis tracking system. The Senate bill calls for an unspecified “agent”. And they want to apply this “agent” directly to the plant. This agent could easily be anything: a sticker, a tag, a Black Mirror-esque microchip.... If the proposed cannabis tracking system ends up altering the plant at a seed or even cellular level, it could open up a whole other host of issues.
