Day For Freedom - Jonaya Stream 6 Hours and BBC Ignores
It should not come as a surprise that an organization actively engaging in fake news, such as the BBC, would commit a lie by omission, by failing to cover the Day of Freedom rally in London on May 6th 2018. But, still, there is a massive sense of incredulity here as the sheer number of Free Speech Movement supporters, ANTIFA, and Police all gathering in one place, did not garner a response from one of the world's largest media organizations.
But, as we know from our studies, this is the Information Age. And that means that a lot of independent journalists hit the scene and broadcast the event to the world. Granted this is how it played out today. But, chances are, if you do not take the issues that Great Britain is having with free speech seriously, then you may one day be deemed too dangerous to speak, by some over-zealous governing body.
Thankfully, a young woman named Jonaya captured 6 hours of the event on a live stream. Highly recommend we all follow her on YouTube. She did a fantastic job. And at one point she even wanted to interview the Antifa group that was protesting the event. And after she was unable to get access to them because the police had barricaded them away from the Day for Freedom protestors, she joked they probably would have beat her up.
Lauren Southern appeared via a live stream. And the crowd was very responsive to her speech. Lauren Southern was detained recently by the British police after she attempted to travel to England to interview Tommy Robinson. Tommy Robinson has been a leader in fighting for free speech after he has seen his country crumble under bad emigration policies. And sadly, his logical pleas for a modicum of restraint involving emigration and how it is hurting the UK, has had mainstream media label him as a racist.
Count Dankula also made an appearance. He came to prominence in the Free Speech movement after being charged with a hate crime after posting a video where he had trained his girl friend's dog to give the Nazi salute. When Jonaya interview him, he told her he attempted to have a conversation with the Antifa protestors, but all they did was yell "Fuck you!" at him over and over.
A transvestite also appeared on stage to sing a song for the crowd. She was introduced by Tommy Robinson. And this was an interesting way to discredit mainstream media's lies about the Free Speech Movement as it goes against the narrative that Free Speech supporters are somehow racist, homophobic, or some such other nasty "ism" that MSM like to roll with.
When you consider the broad cross-section of people who showed up at this event, there seems to be a lot of hope that the Free Speech movement will prevail. One of the things I noticed in the video was that a lot of Brits were wearing MAGA hats as a form of protest.
Of course no free speech event would be complete without the flamboyant Milo Yiannopoulos. After his speech, during Jonaya's interview with him, Milo said, "[free speech] is the underpinning principle of our civilization.". He also said that he became involved as "...the reality that I know to be true and the reality of the TV & newspapers diverged wildly.".
Jonaya also met for the first time and interviewed Opinionated European. Opinionated European is a transgendered Free Speech activist that refuses to coddle up to the MSM left-leaning narrative. And, she has launched a page on Facebook called Project 1984 to help expose the censorship we are dealing with today. If anyone knows either of these independent journalists, please let them know about Steem and all the other alternative media choices they have above and beyond the legacy social media.

I'm glad there's still people who care about freedom in Europe. Sometimes it's hard to remember with all of the burdens they've let their government put on them.
Yes, I am feeling very positive about the resurgence of reason.
