Ted Cruz Crushes the Democrats with a Drug Lord Funded Border Wall

in #informationwar5 years ago (edited)

The animation enhanced announcement of the "El Chapo" Bill by Ted Cruz is so smart it had me laughing.

The 8000 lbs elephant in the room that no one is talking about is that it seems obvious that the reason the Democrats do not want a wall built is that the payoffs the Cartels use to bribe politicians do not stop in Mexico. The Cartels have not only bought off their own Mexican government officials, they've clearly bought a lot of influence in the USA considering the attitude displayed by the Democrats.

Another huge issue no one is talking about with regards to The Wall, is the use of terror and murder by cartels. Do we really want an unchecked boarder when this kind of industrialized murder is so common in Mexico?

And I'll go one further and speculate that even the Mainstream Media is being payed off by drug cartels to push the "racist" point of view about all this. USA today has a new hit-piece about all this that is beginning to circulate. And in the trailer is such an obvious propaganda piece it kind of comes of like the Spinal Tap of all documentaries.

This USA Today produced propaganda piece dives deeply into the "race card" and completely misses the point of why a southern barrier is important.

Also, if you've seen Narcos and Narcos Mexico on Netflix, these dramas based on factual information rightly indicate that the Colombian Cartels were taking in 1.2 billion a month. And the numbers have increased for the Mexican Cartels. So, if all they can find is 14 Billion, then there must be another 50-100 billion hidden somewhere when you look at the number of years this has been going on.

As much as I agree with Senator Cruz here, I had a smirk on my face the entire time. Not sure if he meant to be funny. But, this was kind of like a sketch comedy routine. Perhaps it's because the name of the House Bill is El Chapo, and it's very clever how they named it. And also his speech patterns and the graphics are funny. But the funniest thing is that he really paints Pelosi and Shumer into a corner with this bill. "OK, you don't want to spend tax payer money on a wall. How about seized drug lord assets?" LOL! This is so brilliant an strategic it's actually very funny the Democrats didn't see this coming.

The last thing I will say about all this is that if we really want to eliminate the danger involved with the business of drugs is to legalize all of it. On the one hand, why should the government have primacy over one's own human consciousness? And on the other hand, the reasons some recreational drugs are illegal is that crime is often associated with their use. For instance, someone might say, "We don't want heroin legal here because the people that use it squat in abandoned homes and commit burglaries.". The problem with making the drug illegal is that there are already laws on the books to stop squatting and burglaries. And really the "war on drugs" is so expensive to American Tax payers and ironically it's a drop in the bucket compared to the money the cartels use to move their product.

The forever suave WIlliam F. Buckley lays it all down about how legalizing drugs is the best way to eliminate crime with crystal clear logic.

I say make them legitimate businesses. And tax them. National Revue founder and conservative commentator, the late great William F. Buckley stated that with the money the USA would save on the War on Drugs, that we could open 1000s addiction treatment centers for a fraction of the cost. So by building the wall, we would cut down the black market trade of strong addictive drugs. And decriminalizing them would allow people to seek help if they became addicted. And really, as weed would be legal everywhere with these new laws in place, how many people would really want to ramp up their recreational drug use and take a chance of becoming addicted to crystal meth or heroin?

And lastly, a wall on the USA's southern boarder might motivate Mexicans to form a revolution that would bring about a more egalitarian form of government. Right now, the scapegoat for poor families in Mexico is to escape the depressed area, that their governments do nothing about, for the relative rich opportunity in the USA. A wall would clog this system. And eventually the motivation the people feel to come north would be transformed into a political movement to promote a transformation of their government into something that allows opportunity for all.
