Change My Mind (First Time Watching Some Of Their Videos!)

Sometimes i watch random videos on YouTube..... Ok a couple of times.............. Ok literally everyday i watch random videos on YouTube and each time one video leads to another and i may end up watching some Japanese commercials or a weird guy and his ants. 

Anyways i came across a couple of videos by a guy i have no idea who he is but mostly everyone knows him through memes!

I repeat i don't know who that guy is and honestly i don't care, i just saw 2 of his video and i would have watched a lot more but i had to sleep. What this guy simply does is to go to random universities and colleges, place a stand with a written controversial message and below another one which states "Change My Mind"

The initial message is something like "Rape Culture is a Myth", "Male Privilege Is A Myth" and then he simply invites anyone that wanna come, to join him and start a debate were both can state their arguments and if their arguments are well enough and valid he/she may eventually change his mindset towards the current subject or vice versa!

Let's go to the videos

The first one that i watched is about Male Privilege that i too don't agree with that statement. 2 young college students and friends approach the man, a white and a black one and start debating him. Except the fact that all their "arguments" are stupid  and don't hold validity they lost the game with a simple move.

She kept insisting on the same bullshit!

The next and final one i saw was about rape culture which was insane! He went again to the same university and just before he starts a girl approaches him and start swearing at him just because. He calmly invited her to join him and tell her story and her point of view.

He also played the fool and acted like he know nothing about this whole thing and if she could enlighten him that would be awesome. The girl said multiple times that she was raped and nothing happened and then started swearing all over again trying to show that this man new nothing about rape and statistics.

Conclusion

The people that wanna debate Steven were in my opinion just immature adults. None was kind and show the respect he showed them without even know a single thing about him. I don't know what they expect to get in their lives with attitudes like that but something tell me reality gonna slap them badly.

Especially when you don't know any valid facts or have sources at the moment which is natural you can talk calmly even if you completely disagree with the other side. Then when you go home you can search a bit for yourself and see whether you were right or wrong. What they basically did was swearing and denied all the sources without even stating theirs or having any argument at all. I will see more of videos because i both learn something new, entertain myself and learn new ways to deal with stupidity!
