I grew up in the 80's we were brain washed by Hollywood,the church even, watching red Dawn as a teenager was a huge mindfuck, I joined the army to fight communists, in 1990 communists were never talked about again and all our factories and jobs went to the largest Communist country left, in 94 I had a bumper sticker that said boycott red China, how we made the transition from the 80's communists are our mortal enemies to totally selling out reaks of major Treason by members of the US Government and Corporate America, I have complained about this since the 90's and have had people look at me like I am stupid for over 30 years! America is so unrecognizable from the 80's to present, Globalism back than would be considered an act of Treason, and being a Patriotic red blooded American was not nor I still believe Nationalism. It's called Patriotism.
Yes @natepwer seems that you and I are of simmilar ages and have seen the complete story of this preplanned and systematic implosion of the richer countries by sending all of our work over seas and sending our best men and loyal workforce to the demeaning social payments and the social wasteland of unemployment !! You and I , I think seen the beginning in terms of marked events attributed to globalism and corporate greed over the people of the nation ! I saw the same thing back in the seventies in my country on the other side of the pond ! Same politic and method, high treason made invisible by the sugar coating of free money and too much time to see the thing before their face, namely their enslavement and demise to the point of being ostracised by their own government where they become the unwanted and homeless in their own land !
