A beautiful TAKEDOWN of post-modern art by trolling million-dollar artist. YOU GOTTA SEE THIS!

in #informationwar6 years ago (edited)

"Post-modernism" and "modern art" SUCK. Sorry to be so blatant, but anyone with half a brain (and not easily brainwashed by "group think," "political correctness," or a sick need to want to believe elite and MSM pronouncements) knows it. Modern art, like modern literature, modern (classical) music, and anything to do with modern psychology/psychiatry and "economics," is simply one enormous pile of steaming horse manure.

(A different "Banksy" "masterpiece" titled "Sweeping at Hoxton," courtesy of commons.wikimedia.org.)

Much of it was supported by the super wealthy, beginning well over a century ago, and it remains a mystery why so many people still want the garbage--enough that the minor billionaires will pay millions to outbid each other for the hokum. In my opinion, all these contortions of beauty, serenity and normalcy that we find in the various arts and known as "modern" have their roots in the Rockefellers, Rothschilds and black nobility wanting to TROLL THE PUBLIC, and especially their under-layer of servants, accountants, front men, public relations staff, etc...many of whom are worth billions themselves. In my opinion, these real-life "super" (anti-)heroes want to tear down anything and everything that is beautiful, traditional, comforting and soothing-- and that is why they have underwritten the "moderns" to replace those qualities, worldwide, with disjointedness, ugliness, and clashing notes/words/images. It's all a big game to these anti-social, anti-civilization DEVIL WORSHIPING cretins.

BUT, one painter capable of demanding exorbitant prices for his "modern art" crap has begun to troll back, and the story is HILARIOUS. Check out this article:

A "Banksy" painting titled "a balloon girl," immediately after the final gavel sounded at Sotheby's indicating it had sold for over $80,000, (here is the page showing that: http://www.findartinfo.com/english/list-prices-by-artist/1/160506/banksy/page/1.html) suddenly slipped downward in its frame in front of the astonished crowd, and began SHREDDING ITSELF in a shredder that had been cleverly hidden in the base of the enormous frame.

PRICELESS. This is the art world's version of "V for Vendetta," and the art parliament literally exploded. Here is an excerpt from the article:

"'We have not experienced this situation in the past . . . where a painting spontaneously shredded, upon achieving a [near-]record for the artist. We are busily figuring out what this means in an auction context,' he said. Banksy, who remains one of the most mysterious artists of this era, began his career spray-painting buildings in England and has become a global figure. Some of his works include two policemen kissing, armed riot police with yellow smiley faces, and a chimpanzee with a sign displaying the words 'Laugh now, but one day I'll be in charge.' A post on Banksy's official Instagram page showed the moment when auction house officials and bidders were stunned when the artwork self-destructed. He titled the post "Going, going, gone...'"

("Balloon Girl," before it shredded itself.)

This is beautiful. I hope Banksy is eventually located and identified as a PATRIOT! He sure could walk right out of an Ayn Rand novel, couldn't he?
There can be nothing more delicious that a troll successful and ENORMOUSLY TROLLING THE TROLLS.

And, "Banksy"...hmmm...To me, it sounds like he has been trolling the international BANKsters even with his pseudonym.

Thanks for this context for that shredding incident. I saw the headlines but didn't take time to read the details. Your opinion about all things "modern" is spot on. I was brainwashed by the government run indoc centers as a child to think of all this trash as "art." Later in life I learned that it was anything but. Your emphasis on art being beautiful, soothing etc. is important. I enjoy the American landscape artists of the 19th century. We have small prints of four Thomas Cole works handing in our dining room.

Cole is awesome. Try Albert Bierstadt, if you like Cole. (AND, if you ever see an original painting with obvious oil texture to it, and it's a very good landscape with the monogram "AB" at a yard sale, grab it! That actually happened to my sister once...)

Thanks for the recommend. I will definitely check him out. I've heard the name before.

haha! howdy sir mepatriot! I saw the video of that photo shredding, totally hilarious and he set that up 12 years ago! most people believe he had to be in the audience to trigger the shredder. that thing had to have an awesome battery to be sitting there for 12 years unless they got their information wrong.
anyway awesome post!

LOL...thanks. He didn't have to be in the audience, but he would have had to been fairly close...to watch the auction live some place and then remotely trigger the "detonation" at the precise moment of the sale.

howdy again sir mepatriot but from now on when they get a painting with a frame that big they will ex-ray it to see if it's got a shredder in it, that was a huge frame wasn't it, is that unusual?

Actually, no, it's not unusual. A lot of modern art sold at auction has very ornate, heavy and expensive frames to try to gussy up the CRAP they are selling. It's like a catcher "framing" a pitch for the umpire.

mepatriot! oh ok so wouldn't have thought that was unusual or odd. Do you have any paintings with such huge frames? Won't people wonder about them now? lol.

I do have several with large heavy frames, yes. They may x-ray them at the large auction houses like Sotheby's, in particular (lol), from now on.

well sir mepatriot I suppose the lofty, haughty folks at Sotheby's were mortified and embarrassed! lol.
