A crack in Monsatan's armor? Jury awards $289,000,000 to a guy who got cancer from "Roundup."

One of the swampiest of the swamp corporations just got slapped with a major jury settlement. "Roundup" is POISON as anyone with a brain can tell you. It kills everything but FREAK GMO plants that are specially designed to resist it. So, I ask you this simple question..."Are we GMO plants??" If you answered "NO!"..."Ding, ding, ding. You win the prize." Roundup will kill people too. Surprise, surprise (not!)

What is worse is the history that Monsanto has in winning cases of this type, and even of worse types--like when they sue farmer's for "growing" their mutant seeds without paying for them when a few drift on to an organic farmer's field and take root from the nearby freak show fields planted with their crap. This type of jury SLAPDOWN is long overdue, extremely welcomed, and hopefully, part of an early emerging trend. Monsatan is just one of MANY swap corporations that so desperately needs to have its corporate charter pulled!:

“This jury found Monsanto acted with malice and oppression because they knew what they were doing was wrong and doing it with reckless disregard for human life,” said Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a member of Johnson’s legal team. “This should send a strong message to the boardroom of Monsanto.”

Monsanto has denied a link between the active ingredient in Roundup — glyphosate — and cancer, saying hundreds of studies have established that glyphosate is safe.

Monsanto spokesman Scott Partridge said the company will appeal. Partridge said scientific studies and two government agencies have concluded that Roundup does not cause cancer.

“We are sympathetic to Mr. Johnson and his family,” Partridge said. “We will appeal this decision and continue to vigorously defend this product, which has a 40-year history of safe use and continues to be a vital, effective, and safe tool for farmers and others.”

So...let's say they are right and "studies to show that glyphosate doesn't cause cancer. Guess what that would mean, folks? THAT'S RIGHT...it's time for major nationally-televised Congressional Hearings into these "studies," who develops them, who conducts them, how unscientific the process is, who pays who to ignore what, etc., etc. Are you ready for Round Two of Monsatan vs. Humanity?
