Ah! Now I know why Ocasio-Cortez was chosen to be the new leftist hero. She just showed her true colors!
She's a radical leftist, true, but now we also know that she is a "watermelon"...i.e. Green on the outside and red on the inside. MSM is reporting just now that she is putting forward radical globalist climate fear-mongering legislation to basically shut down what little is left of the nation's industrial base within ten years, and to hit the rest of us with onerous, totally ludicrous and unaffordable "carbon taxes." They are calling it (isn't this cute?...) "The Green New Deal."
I've been trying to SCREAM as loud as I could that this same crap was being pushed on France and that this is what got little momma's boy Macron in such trouble with his own people, instigating the gilettes jaune (Yellow Vest) protests. The American MSM has been totally covering up this REAL REASON behind the protests in France--the attempted introduction of carbon taxes-- BECAUSE they knew it would soon be introduced HERE in the USA.

I wondered who was going to be the one to bring these taxes forward, and now that I know it's Ocasio-Cortez it's all making sense. NO WAY was this ill-spoken, low-information snowflake talented, smart or charismatic enough to have "made her own way"all by herself. Somebody was pushing her hard FOR A SPECIFIC ROLE all along, and now I know what her role is...i.e. TO FINISH OFF THE AMERICAN ECONOMY AND TO PUSH THOSE OF US WHO HAVE BEEN BARELY HOLDING ON FINANCIALLY over the cliff into Desperationville and total dependence on the welfare state and Big Brother.

And...probably should think about making your next vehicle one that you can charge AT HOME with electricity from a wood/coal burning generator. Any gas/diesel/NG-propane option is going to become price-prohibitive.
Oh, and if you're in the Northeast, you can forget about heating your home with fuel. That stuff is going to become black gold and north of $5 per gallon, in short order.
UNLESS, we pull out our own yellow vests, and GET BUSY!

Home heating oil...which is now around $2.50.
So...with the abundance of oil that we have, why are the prices going up?
They aren't YET...but that's "The Green New Deal"...massive new energy taxes to be used to pay for supposed "climate change initiatives."

The only thing powerful enough to affect our climate would be number one the Sun and number two volcanoes which are definitely able to put us into an ice age.
When temperatures go up Suddenly they go back down and we are definitely seeing that in the Pacific Northwest with this week of Sub-Zero temperature.
Over the past couple of years it really doesn't get as far down on the temperature as it has been lately and this year is definitely really cold
