Another U.S. national security-related official bites the dust. WT??

What exactly is going on with these recent departures? Kirstjen Nielsen was always just the type of pretty face Trump would have wanted around, but this? The departure of Tex Alles as head of the Secret Service smells different and far more serious:

Of course there's no real way from the public's very limited vantage point to know whether ol' Tex was doing a good job or not, but any time there are major changes at THIS particular agency, you've got to wonder about coups and assassinations, and all those sorts of very nasty possibilities.

Here is a key excerpt from the link above:

"The ouster of Secret Service Director Randolph D. 'Tex" Alles on Monday was not unexpected, and, in fact, was welcomed by most members of the law enforcement agency, sources tell DailyMail.com.

'The sentiment at the agency is "good riddance,"' they say.

'Alles seemed more interested in making friends with agents than fixing the problems that plague the once-proud agency,' according to agency sources. 'He proved to be the exact opposite of what was needed to reform the agency'."

That's all well and good. The rank and file (had they not been involved in all those sex parties and so forth) would normally be THE place to turn to for the real story on situations like this. But even so, I'd still prefer to take their word for it over that of the mainstream media or the politicos. Let's hope moving Tex aside was indeed the right step and not the opening need for some kind of coup against the President.

Then there is also this bit about a rising new "power behind" the throne. The guy is reportedly a true warhawk on the illegal immigration front, so that's a very good sign, if true:

"A White House source with knowledge of the West Wing's goings on in the past week told DailyMail.com on Monday that (Stephen) Miller has advocated internally for Nielsen's firing, and for Alles to follow her out the door.

Miller is known as a sharp-tongued promoter of hawkish immigration policies that Democrats have complained push the boundaries of federal law and too often challenge court precedents."

Let's just hope Miller is the read deal and not another in a long line of betrayers of the people. We can not risk having any more faux anti-illegal immigration people in positions of power at this stage.
