Breakthrough in the MH370 case??....Maybe.

in #informationwar6 years ago (edited)

You all remember Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, right? It's been missing now for years, and no one has ever heard from a survivor or been able to pinpoint the location of the wreckage--(if wreckage there be.) Now, a team of private investigators is about to go on the ground in the jungles of Cambodia to investigate a spot where hey claimed to have found a plane on the jungle floor using...that's right, you guessed...Google Earth.

Hmmm.... Here is a fascinating article about all of this:

https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/729448/mh370-news-cambodia-theory-search-latest-google-maps-mission

The investigator saw the images years ago, and while a previous overflight didn't turn up anything, it was too long after the images to have been significant, because jungle vegetation grows so quickly and would have hidden anything pretty quickly. Here's how the article comments on the earlier attempt:

"Flying 'over' a deep jungle growth forest to look for an aircraft that could have been on the ground for over four years is virtually useless because of the thick vegetation that will have grown all around and over the aircraft making it impossible to see from the air."

Now, there will be a helicopter expedition that will land researchers within three miles of the spot, and from there, local guides will take the team into the spot of the Google Earth sighting. Of course, there are no guarantees that they will find anything, or that whatever structure they find actually does turn out to be the downed MH370; but, it sure sounds worth the effort to me. Whoever finds MH370 is going to be world-famous, and will probably get one heckuva book published with movie rights into the megamillions.

I never knew this before, either:

"Records released by the Malaysian Transport Ministry show that air traffic controllers were told by Malaysia Airlines the plane was in Cambodian airspace. Ho Chi Minh air traffic controllers also inquired if the jet was in Phnom Penh, east of Wilson's Google Maps sighting. But this was later judged to be incorrect. The plane went missing on March 8, 2014, from Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur to Beijing before it disappeared during a handover between Malaysian and Vietnamese air traffic controllers."

It sure would be nice if they actually found MH370. All the rumor mongering needs to stop, and we do need an answer as to what processes were involved in allowing a modern passenger aircraft to go missing like this in the first place, and stay missing for as long as MH 370 has done.

Godspeed and good progress to all involved. Stay safe out there!

This guy has an interesting theory about the plane, not saying it’s definitively true, but interesting

Right. It is. Thanks for sharing that one!

Ya, good post. Everybody forgot about this one

The shadow bothers me, but it's still very interesting. Not sure how it could be intact either...

Ya, the shadow & placement looks funny for sure.

Perhaps it was landed nearby & towed? Plenty of possibilities but probably none likely.

The guy admits to running psyops on his viewers sometimes so have to be critical, like when watching the news

Indeed. Well said.
