The larger question should be whether these troop movements will be linked with a very scary, and hard-to-limit new "declaration of national emergency" (and martial law?) especially as it lines up pretty closely with the just-announced intention of Trump "fixer" lawyer Michael Cohen to testify before Congress before going to jail on his 3-year sentence (which will surely be shortened depending on how much dirt he throws at his old boss.)
