Maduro ousted, Venezuela in turmoil...Civil War?

in #informationwar5 years ago (edited)

I just wrote yesterday afternoon about how the South American "progressives/socialists" have essential remained true to the original progressive (anti-Rockefeller/big-oil) control of their economies. This, while the American people have been hoodwinked into complicity and complacency as a result of Rockefeller bogus "philanthropy" and a compliant Congress and media.

One of big oil's most persistent and troublesome "flies in the ointment" has been Venezuela, and the tendency of her people to put populists and progressives into the Presidency--men who have, occasionally, even understood the stranglehold of American (come Rockefeller ) "foreign policy," and the unfair oil concessions, on Venezuela's economy and people.

(Juan Guaidó )

Then, just last night came word that the latest in a line of non-cooperative Venezuelan Presidents has apparently held out against the Rockefellers and "American-style democracy" a bit too long, weakened by the intentional foreign-meddled implosion of the Venezuelan economy:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jan/11/venezuela-maduro-juan-guaido-assume-presidency

Her is an excerpt:

"Juan Guaidó told a rally in Caracas that Maduro – who began his second six-year term as president on Thursday amid a tempest of international condemnation – was an illegitimate 'usurper.' The 35-year-old politician claimed that he therefore had the constitutional right to assume leadership of the country until fresh elections were held. 'We are going to change things in Venezuela,' Guaidó told hundreds of cheering supporters in a speech he called his 'declaration to the Venezuelan people'.”

(President Nicolas Maduro.)

This is a very dangerous situation, obviously, as Guaido is the head of the Venezuelan assembly, and this could turn into a Cromwell-style civil war in the South American nation. Here is a video with more details (in Spanish):

Here is a translated excerpt from the commentary on that link (above):

"Juan Guaidó, the new president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, spoke in La Tarde of NTN24 about the pronouncement of the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, against him and said that "the rule of law is a fundamental element that protects citizens from hunger "And added that" today there are 33 daily protests in Venezuela."

Unlike in the USA, the "socialists" in South America tend to be populist and popular, unless, of course, the food runs out. Nobody can put politics above their basic human needs, and it would appear that Maduro has gone "a bridge too far," and/or been pushed over one by CIA/Mossad/MI-6 meddling.

Watch for U.S. President Trump to make strong statements in favor of last night's actions, and perhaps to even provide logistics, and/or limited military or financial ("humanitarian") support for the Venezuelan Assembly.

After all, you don't become President of the United States without the support of two factions...the Rockefeller deep state, and the PTB in the Israeli Likud Party.

Of course, I am sure it is just pure coincidence that the current U.S. administration's chief neocon and war hawk was out busy denigrating Maduro again, YESTERDAY:

https://www.politico.com/story/2019/01/11/bolton-claims-manduro-illegitimate-claim-1098634

"'The Trump Administration resolutely supports the Venezuelan National Assembly, the only legitimate branch of government duly elected by the Venezuelan people,' Bolton said in the statement."

Oopsy...

Howdy mepatriot! hey this looks like a powder keg getting close to the flames. They don't need civil war to make things even harder on those poor people.

Well put. We need to stay out of it though, too, and leave that country alone. (...unless we're talking pure humanitarianism, which rarely happens.)

I agree. Do you think there's anything we can do to help beside hamanitarian aid?

Pray for the people of Venezuela and for the truth to emerge.
