MonSATAN gains a court victory, may have the huge Roundup verdict reversed. Ninth Circuit in S.F., AGAIN.

in #informationwar5 years ago

Somebody needs to start a Constitutional Amendment drive for giving the people or their representatives, nationally, an easier path to impeach and remove corrupt Federal judges. Seriously. I bet if you took a national poll, 90%+ of Americans would agree that the farm worker who got cancer from being covered constantly with "Roundup" (also known, chemically, as glyphosate) and won a major multi-million dollar lawsuit against Monsanto should be able to KEEP his original verdict and get that money.

Now, however, a black-robed Ninth-Circuit LUNATIC in San Fransisco (recently named "human feces capital of the world") has decided that the company didn't do it with malice and that the farmer's attorneys didn't prove malice. Well, he is just as sick as he would have been had malice been proved, and it is an utter tragedy that Monsanto (now part of Bayer--the German drug giant) would get this type of reprieve, especially now that The World Health Organization (WHO) has agreed that Roundup IS a likely human carcinogen.

Here is the article:

https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2018/10/10/judge-may-overturn-289-million-verdict-in-monsanto-roundup-case/

And here is a key excerpt from the above link:

"In her ruling, Bolanos said plaintiff DeWayne Johnson failed to produce 'clear and convincing evidence of malice or oppression' by Monsanto. She wrote that he did not provide any evidence that Monsanto employees believed that exposure to the product caused his lymphoma. Johnson has reportedly been told he has about two years to live.
Dewayne 'Lee' Johnson speaks to 'CBS This Morning' after winning a $289 million verdict against Monsanto. (CBS)

'Given the state of medical and scientific knowledge there is no clear and convincing evidence that Monsanto acted with malice or oppression in manufacturing and selling its GBH (Roundup) products,' the judge wrote. 'Plaintiff (Johnson) failed to present any evidence that Monsanto acted despicably.'”

Remember now, this is ONE THUG over-ruling a UNANIMOUS JURY VERDICT because she thinks (paraphrasing and basically) that Monsanto did not act maliciously when they covered half the western world's producing crop fields with poison for decades. OK. Sure.

Bayer, the parent company, has also been linked to vaccination crimes (which I have covered previously here in other contexts) so the recent merger between MonSATAN and Bayer truly was a perfect marriage made in HELL. If we can not stop these international mega-corporations from poisoning people, then maybe it is time for people to run on a platform that emphasize corporate law reform, and maybe it's time to yank protections that prevent corporate execs from being sued, personally, for their crimes against humanity.

WE CAN ALSO YANK CORPORATE CHARTERS and force these megalithic and unaccountable structures to be broken up as we have done in the past with Standard Oil, A.T. & T., and others.

It's past time to do SOMETHING.
