A Teardrops Poetry - "Money and Power"
A balance in power, money to cheat
House painted white, a wall of deceit
Our political views, no balance in sight
Left feeding right, worlds ongoing fight
Immigration laws, legislation in pride
Gun control shoots, nowhere to hide
Protestors rally, freedoms now dead
Extremes in motion, no middle instead
Propaganda display, our media tide
Half spoken truths, fuelling our slide
Nobody to trust, our leaders asleep
Homeless still hungry, mothers still weep
Money and power, morals of stone
As I sit at my desk, and stare at my phone
Newspapers twisted, a baton for some
Just wake me up, to inform me who won
