Whistleblower's Home Raided By FBI

In an article for the Daily Caller it was revealed that a whistleblower, under full protection of the Whistleblower Protection Act, had his house raided by the FBI. This happened after the whistleblower, Dennis Nathan Cain, had already turned over all documents he had pertaining to the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One to both the House and Senate Intelligence Committees as well as the DOJ's Inspector General's Office. The warrant cited theft and possession of government property.

 The Justice Department’s inspector general was informed that the documents show that federal officials failed to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and Rosatom, the Russian company that purchased Uranium One, a document reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation alleges. 

Why, given that the government is already in possession of the originals, they would raid Mr. Cain's home is curious.  "The raid was permitted by a court order signed on Nov. 15 by federal magistrate Stephanie A. Gallagher [an Obama appointee] in the U.S. District Court for Baltimore and obtained by TheDCNF. Sixteen agents arrived at the home of Dennis Nathan Cain, a former FBI contractor, on the morning of Nov. 19 and raided his Union Bridge, Maryland, home, Socarras told TheDCNF."

Even though Cain repeatedly informed the agents that he was protected and handed the documents over out of fear for his life, they spent an additional six hours rummaging through his home... the question remains- why? Mr. Cain's attorney,  Michael Socarras , told reporters: "I cannot believe the Bureau informed the federal magistrate who approved the search warrant that they wanted to search the home of an FBI whistleblower to seize the information that he confidentially disclosed to the IG and Congress." This makes it look political, not to mention smacking of the Mueller witch hunt. IG Michael Horowitz, only two months ago, gave a speech on the importance of protecting whistleblowers...

Something isn't right about this. Either the Deep State is in full panic mode and Mueller has gone totally off the reservation (if he was ever on it) or, as the Conservative Treehouse suspects, it's all over but the crying. " Make sure you read the entire article because if the DOJ was intending to throw a bag over the entire Clinton Foundation investigation and cover-it-up, that raid is exactly what they would do. This is presumably the investigation that John Huber was/is controlling."

 This could be a troubling indication because: (a) Huber wouldn’t be able to testify about an ongoing criminal investigation; and (b) this framework would infer DOJ officials (above Huber) have made a determination -or agreed with his determination- that no legal liability is possible within the matters Huber reviewed.  

By seizing all of the evidence it would be virtually impossible to prosecute the Clinton Foundation.  If the reporting of the raid by the Daily Caller is accurate; and given the nature of the timing for that raid; and accepting the at risk elements within the whistleblower case extended beyond Hillary Clinton to Robert Mueller; and noting how the SSCI was the recipient of the information/evidence as transmitted by Michael Horowitz; there is a solid appearance of the DOJ maneuvering to cover-up the underlying DOJ/FBI corruption by seizing -and controlling- all of the evidence. 

The CTH brings up several other interesting points"

• How do we find out about the Mark Warner text messages?
• Who publicly released the Carter Page FISA application?
• Where did the four day flood of information (Dec 1st – 4th, 2017) about Lisa Page and Peter Strzok come from?
• Who released that Page/Strzok information to the media?  Why?
• Who made the decision not to indict James Wolfe for leaking classified information?
• Why be so specific about details within the Wolfe indictment; then dismiss them?
• Who made the decision (FISA ap) NOT TO redact the key FISC clerk stamp?
• Where is all of this “unofficial” evidence/information coming from?
• Why?

There is, however, another possible scenario... what if the "white hats" want possession of all of the evidence and the FBI was acting on behalf of Huber and the IG's Office? If they have all of the evidence, there's no possible way that "other" versions of the information floating to the surface in a different form in the future. It does seem a rather draconian method of obtaining it, putting Mr. Cain through a traumatic situation (unless he was tipped off beforehand). Given the level of panic in the Swamp, anything is possible... Personally, I wouldn't read too much into this right now.
