Political perjury is finally being prosecuted in DC; it is about time!
Well, this is encouraging. When Perjury is used as a political tool, it should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law. If it is true, and NOT perjury, that should be equally serious!
But if used as a political tool; I think perjury is a Hate Crime! This stuff needs to STOP! If it was not prosecuted 38 years ago, when it would still have been a crime; then 38 years later, when it is way past the statute of limitations...shut up!
It is ironic that when this testimony occurred, and it became obvious that there were no facts supporting the same testimony, there was only ONE crime tied to this testimony. The only current, and active crime, was Perjury.
It is good to see that this time the political perjury is not being ignored! When you have Ex-Girlfriends coming out to defend the accused, it really supports the accused as a decent guy, attacked by some liberal people, with no morals.

If their story had been possible, political perjury would not be prosecuted, but it was so damn bogus, that prosecution is now in progress.
No Man should force himself on a Woman, and If he does, he should go to jail. But equally important is that Women should Not attack an innocent Man, using perjury as her tool. That should also be prosecuted, just as actively!
This should be a good show to watch. Sadly we know the major media companies won't mention a word about it because it would make them look bad. And if one does then they will earn a bit more respect from me!

:)Women who make false rape claims should be given the sentence the defendant would have got had they been proven guilty. Too many men have had their lives destroyed just by a false accusation.
Rape should NOT happen, BUT false aquizations are just as bad! BOTH destroy someone, and are opposite faces on the same coin!
Both Women, and Men should be safe! Rape should be prosecuted when it occurs and should carry a stigma, because it is a character flaw, and that person can NOT be trusted (Man or Woman). Perjury to hurt someone else should also carry a stigma. It should also, as you so correctly pointed out, carry mandatory jail time for whomever is found guilty!
This obviously is ONLY if the person is convicted, lost of innocent people are accused!
:'(I agree with you 100% rape should be taken seriously, I'm for the death penalty if your a convicted rapist. I just feel the women who falsely accuse men of rape tend to get a slap on the wrist while the man has been fired from his job, kicked out of school, etc, just by the accusation. Not to mention the duress and the public spot light shined on them. The stories of them being found innocent never get the press the initial accusation received.
For multiple rapes maybe, but there are too many willing participants, who get mad later, and change their minds about 'willing'; and cry rape when he dates another girl!
But the character flaw that triggers a rapist, can be corrected with a good hanging!
Perjury has set punishments that need to be followed too.

At least they have a chance now. If Killery had cheated her way in, we would have a permanent liberal SCOTUS, and think would have degerated to blood in the streets!
I hope the Justice Department; will actually dispense JUSTICE!
