Eagles fail to own Trump so now they’re miffed
The problem with anti-Trump Leftists is they never fail to underestimate Donald Trum
So, the Philadelphia Eagles were supposed to go to the White House today. Because for some reason I never understood, championship teams always get to go to the White House.
Any old how. Most of the team was planning on skipping it.
You know, as a way to own Trump.
The plan was obvious.
Only a handful of Eagles players would turn up. And then the media could have a field day cheering the players who stayed away all so they could insult the President.
But President Trump threw it right back at them – as only Donald Trump could.
Now, if Donald Trump was like every other “smile while they spit in your face” Republican, this would have been a masterful own on the part of the Eagles and the media.
But, as always, Leftie anti-Trumpers totally underestimated Donald Trump.
Actually, I think underestimating Donald Trump is a prerequisite for being a frothing-at-the-mouth anti-Trumper.
By telling the Philadelphia Eagles to go pound sand, President Trump took their attempt to politicize what’s supposed to be a celebration and turned it around on them.
This is Donald Trump’s specialty – that “I’m rubber you’re glue” tactic that has served him so well.
The Eagles tried to slam Trump and he shoved it right back down their throats.
Now the media is howling, the mayor of Philly is flapping his trap and attacking the President.
But don’t be fooled.
The reason they’re so upset is because President Trump beat them at their own game.
And he deprived them of the opportunity to act like dicks.
