In Nigeria today, the youth have been neglected in nearly all areas. The government which comprises of just the old men and women above 50 years of age has refused to give the youth a chance to come into the system . The youth own their part has not been helping themselves, they refuse to work and expect politicians to come give them stolen money from the country's treasury and when that happens, They becomes the politician puppet and be used in whatever way the financier deem him fit

Recently the NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN BILL was signed by the President in the presence of some selected youth whom I believed was arranged by the government. Let me remind you that the president who signed the bill is still runing for a second term in office in 2019, will the president do anything that will cut down his chances of returning back to office? The answer is NO.

The visibility of the bill is not seen, a bill was signed, Yes but have you asked yourself why political party sells nomination form for $28572 for Governor seat and President $57142 before the Electoral body sells theirs. How will an independent young candidate with no money secure the form and what about those at the party level. With a minimum wage of $51 how can the youth save up to fund his own campaign and election without begging the top politicians for support.
