Creative Curation Report #Inktober Special

CreativeCoin and OCD are joining forces for a super creative Inktober. There will be a daily support of three exceptional artworks each day from both initiatives and a chance to be featured in the final Inktober gallery at the end of the month. Also it is highly encouraged to cross post your artworks to other social media and in this way you will get more support and also promote our amazing creative community.

From my part i will swift my curation this month to support more artists taking part at Inktober and also present three underrated artworks in my weekly creative curation reports. I like the idea of Inktober, it is getting to be a major event each year and also a very good practice for artists to create with a small piece of information and in a tight schedule.

I like the way the artist interpreted the word and created a simple but striking drawing. The shadow play looks great and is creating an atmosphere of mystery. The ring with the giant proportions could be a symbol of infinity, a seamless loop, and the human figure taking a leap of faith to the unknown.

The geometrical shapes and the blue ink make this drawing stand out from the rest. The word build is associated more than anything with the creation of buildings and the style of drawing reminds a bit of the Tetris game. The blue ink was a very good choice because it makes the viewing more comfortable in contrast with the hard black and white ink. It looks like a minimal dream house, it even has a pool at the roof.

A funny and creative interpretation of the word with a drawing showing the frozen remains of an unlucky Santa. I like the style of drawing and all the cool little details that for see a really unhappy Christmas. As it seems the bottle of wine was not enough for him to endure the cold and i see no sign of the faithful deers near. Lets hope for a happy ending and maybe an undead Santa, which will be really cool!
