Here I am, catching up with some of the Inktober's prompts I didn't want to leave unfulfilled. The following artwork is a combination of four prompts: weak (#15), breakable (#20), stretch (#26) and slice (#26). As I said in a previous post, I really like doing things my way, so I chose those more appealing to me and this is the result. It has a creepy vibe that goes along very well with the Halloween boom, and I like that.

• The canvas: a blank page of my sketchbook.
• The lines: a fine black marker (0.4).
• The backgrounds: watercolor pencils and of course some water.
• The final touch: blood. ^{Just kidding, it's just crimson red gouache.}

I indeed focused less on the technique and more on the message.

True horror is always right there for everyone to see. At least it is for me.

Aquí estoy, poniéndome al día con algunas de las sugerencias del Inktober que no quería dejar sin cumplir. La siguiente ilustración es una combinación de cuatro indicaciones: débil (# 15), rompible (# 20), estirar (# 26) y rebanar (# 26). Como dije en una publicación anterior, realmente me gusta hacer las cosas a mi manera, así que elegí las que más me atrajeron y éste es el resultado. Tiene un ambiente espeluznante que va muy bien con el auge del Halloween, y eso me gusta.

• El lienzo: una página en blanco de mi cuaderno de bocetos.
• Las líneas: un marcador negro fino (0.4).
• Los fondos: lápices de acuarela y por supuesto un poco de agua.
• El toque final: sangre. ^{Es una broma, es solo un gouache rojo carmesí.}

De hecho, me centré menos en la técnica y más en el mensaje.

El verdadero horror siempre está ahí para que todos lo vean. Al menos así es para mí.
