Check Out This Super Slick Leaning Car/Cycle/ENV
This thing might get laughed off the streets in Redneck country but I think it's a perfect fit for European cities!

You know, with all those narrow streets winding around that are as wide as alleys? Here we like our vehicles to be big, tall, loud, obnoxious, and patriotic. Preferably in truck form. lol:
But I think this new vehicle is brilliant for Europe. I don't even know what to call it because it's bigger than a motorcycle but you can still help steer it by leaning.
Ever see anything like this? I think it would be a blast to drive.
I think it's a totally new invention. They're calling it an ENV for "Enclosed Narrow Vehicle" and they're making them in The Netherlands.

You guys have kids, this would never work for you! lol. It's a 2-seater with a little storage compartment in back, big enough for a couple bags of groceries?
The manufacturer is Carver and I think they're making them right now. The cost is about 8,000 Euros so it would be a good alternative if you were single... instead of buying a car for 3 or 4 times as much.
It's pretty quick too. 0 to 62 mph or 100 kmh in 8.2 seconds. I think it will be a big success. Can you imagine if this takes off in China? Carver might be a good investment.

It DOES have a big negative though. Top speed is limited to 28 mph (45 km/h). Excuse me? I can run that fast! So it's strictly for inner city travel.
It will have a competitor soon. Maybe. Toyota is experimenting with their own leaning model:
Freaky.
By the way, Toyota says that in just 6 years ALL their vehicles will be electric.
Any city-slickers out there who'd buy one of these? I know for some of you 8,000 Euros is chicken feed!

Yes sir that was tremendous. I'm glad you sent this clip and mentioned it because I wasn't paying that much attention when I saw the movie, I need to see the whole thing again but something else was going on with Mrs. J. or something and I didn't realize that this movie was set in the future and didn't even notice the driverless trucks until I watched that clip.

haha! Howdy brittandjosie! Yeah crazy dutch but they are very innovative and inventive! I like what they are coming up with. That one you showed here looks like a golf cart but it has even less room to put your groceries! lol. It looks very well built though. Thanks so much for commenting!
It is dangerous as it encourages people to own less, to have less, to be less, and to rent more, to live in smaller boxes and drive in smaller boxes. I will call it a covered motorcycle. It's nice to have them as secondary vehicles but not as your only car. I prefer cars with four wheels. I prefer bigger streets. I lived in Vietnam and people there would like this too. It looks like a smart car or dumb car lol.
lol! howdy Oatmeal! Oh yeah, countries with lots of scooters like Vietnam might go crazy for these if they aren't too big for them! lol. I love the big streets and vehicles too. But I can see them forcing a downsizing on vehicles that's for sure.

Oh wow, I wouldn't feel comfortable driving on the interstate in one of these. That being said, it would be fun to run around in, wouldn't it??
Yes I think it would be a blast in town but you'd get run over on the interstate or bumped off the road!

Well, that's so small that it might be an advantage when you're zipping past cars on a crowded road...we all know it when you need an edge at the traffic light, heh. And it's more safe than a motorcycle! But yeah, you won't be carrying too much with this,,,
haha! Howdy lilacse! Very good points, are there many motorcyles where you live? Where DO you live? lol.
Malaysia...and motorcycles aren't really the most common transport here (most people here have cars, really, which brings us to another problem of road congestion LOL). But when they appear on the road you can see their advantage when it comes to traffic lights because cars will always naturally give way to them :)
