Do not be Intimidated - Developing Self Esteem

We are shaped by our environment and our daily interactions with people. We met people, walk with and work with people daily. Through our interactions, we either feel good about our self or otherwise. The feeling you have about your self could be regarded as your self -esteem.

Some people feel less of themselves. They are not confident. They are always quiet and do not contribute to on-going discussions where they are. They don’t feel loved as they should. They don’t care about looking their best. They always live in one fear or the other. You can’t blame them for feeling this way about themselves because they did not grow up alone. These set of people have been talked down on. They have been silenced, mocked by people around them countless times. They have been victims of bullying. A person cannot develop a stable self -esteem in an environment full of negativity.

To develop a good image of yourself, you first need to accept that you are human, you are not perfect. Accept yourself for who you are. Never spend time reminiscing on your weakness rather, discover yourself. What are you good at? What are the skills you possess, what are the skills you love to learn, what do you love to do in your closet. Don’t waste time thinking, start doing what you love. Then, be confident in your work.

Never let anyone talk down on you. You need a level of confidence to make this happen. You are as important as every other person that exist, don’t keep your opinions to yourself. What you have in mind might just be the perfect idea needed at that time. Choose to be relevant and be relevant.
