Who all have made it to Steemit?!

Taking into account that Steemit is relatively new, and also the fact that it's very foundation is based on people wanting to look further more into the world of information and data sharing, it would be safe to assume that the following stands true to all of us present here:

• We are here to find new works and inspiration. Away from being fed the most popular themes and propaganda. 
• We are here of our own choice, it would have been much simpler to stick to "usual" means of social media.
• We look for a deeper connection to the world rather than a convenient one which forces and rewards us to stay distant from the happenings in the world
• We understand that there are simple ways to a catch the human imagination and once that is done it is easy to feed information as required(referring to the state of popular music and art of this era). We are here to work around it and willing to look deeper into these fields.

I congratulate you all in making this far, even though I myself am new here. This is a big step towards the future, and as all beginnings, the world of blockchain also starts from simple blogs and texts, no flashy pictures, no celebrities; plain and simple. Every post open to questioning and and to self assessment of the viewer.
