If it is cloudy or rainy, the drone and the motor must be dried after the drone has gone out for a lap, because the large-scale aerial camera does not have a waterproof function.
In addition, although the enameled wire coil of the brushless motor can be waterproof to some extent, the motor bearing is not waterproof. If the water enters multiple times, the bearing wears and the motor will be abnormal.
In addition, the ESC is not waterproof. Once it enters the water, the ESC is easy to short-circuit. If you must fly in the rain, be sure to check if the center distribution board is protected and check if the ESC is protected.
Regarding the paddles, I personally have been demanding the blades. If the blades have been scraped, I will replace them directly because there are two reasons: the blade will be affected by the scraping, which will affect the dynamic balance and increase the probability of the blade explosion. The Large drone load gimbal is much more fragile than the power. The power of the rack can be a little collision, but the gimbal will accidentally destroy the IMU.
The IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) consists of a gyroscope and an accelerometer. It is generally horizontal or vertical to the bottom of the camera. The attitude angle of the camera frame is detected at any time during the work. If there is no IMU, how does the gimbal work?
Due to the special work of the IMU, the measurement accuracy is required, and the shock absorber is not installed at the time of design, so it is particularly sensitive to external impact.
If you accidentally fall to the ground, there may be no injuries in the outside viewing, but when you power on the gimbal, it will drift or not work properly. This shows that the IMU has gone wrong. Therefore, we must protect the IMU.
The wire of gimbal should not be pulled at will, especially the HDMI cable. Many people have problems with the picture transmission. This is because the HDMI cable is pulled out. The slip ring of the gimbal will also lead to a lot of lines, and it will have to be changed if the entire slip ring is accidentally pulled.
The board of the gimbal cannot have liquid in, although the surface of the core circuit is covered with a protective lacquer, it still cannot prevent water ingress or corrosive liquid.The gimbal of the consumer-grade integrated drone machine, such as the PHANTOM 3, the PITCH axis is relatively easy to deform. When the plane takes off, try to choose some relatively clean venues. Otherwise, the gap between the gimbal and gimbal motors is easier to get into the ash. When transporting, use the gimbal buckle and the bracket to clamp the gimbal as much as possible to reduce the impact.
