I havent been able to post or interract that much with the chain since about the time of the discussions sorrounding the HF, i gather it all went ok, since there is still people here. i do however try to take the time to play Splinterlands, to not dissapoint my guild Knights United!
i see that my last post was about how generous epicdice is, and it was for some time, but i think i might have been taken down in the drag when it got compromised. either that or i just got insanely unlucky over way too much time.
unfortunately i was super close to beeing able to book a ticket and travel to STEEMfest in Bangkok, that and life/fall/commitments have made my pressence not so noted around here lately.
I hope to CHANGE that!
For those that have followed me for some time they know that i paint and make graphic art, but i also used to make DJ mixes a couple of years ago.
I am at it again, and had my first Forest gig last weekend in the deep Norwegian forest. the temperature was about 5-6 degrees celsius and there was periods of heavy rain. i tried to lighten the mood and had gave the people some groovy tunes to keep warm on.
(08:00-14:00) I unfortunately forgot to record the first part of the set, and a little rusty after a long time away!

i am sorry, as stated in the post, i havent been around since the last HF i will look into this and ofcourse try and help the STEEM ecosystem as much as possible! what about services like SteemBasicIncome? Are they also considered vote buying?

Still got flagged by several accounts before i read more about the topic, i started following you as a result of that. I still dont quite get it tough, but will just back away from bid bots untill i get the bigger picture :)
It's a bunch of idiots flagging people for.using bidbots.
They want the game to be played by their rules.
So popular vote. Mob rules. If you are apart of their groups and under their control they promote you and you get paid...
If not? Well you are a bad man.. abused of platform.
Yep only reason I grew the same as the worst offenders and terrible people but those who brownnose for votes? I spent money promoting myself and grew my account.
Now they want me to join their rules. Which I'm seeing is just killing what little we had left.
Nothing about addressing the abuse that is really happening.
But anyone can buy in.
As a result not a single bidbot service has warned customers....
Not a single one.
And flaggers? None have warned people first they just flagged. Other than recently ocdb is warning people... Just them.
But yeah guess newsteem is the downfall of the platform.
It's called decentralization, welcome to a decentralized community.
We hope you stay long enough to see how positive the outcome will be after the bidbots are completely gone.
Flagging the people does nothing to help the situation.
And now? You have to be apart of a "group" and subject to the control and manipulation of that group.
Besides that. I asked about joining ocdb and was told that you have to be nominated for inclusion to your group. Which was just a way of saying no to me joining.
So yeah how do you join ocdb then?

I am sorry but earlier it was stated that one could use it up to three times, i choose to use it because i havent been around for a while and i figured alot had changed since the last HF also. I am sorry if i messed up or offended anyone! and hope we can continue to enjoy Steemit togheter :)
