we the campusgistars team welcomes you to our page. we are glad to be here on the steem blockchain. i am @chrischichi(still waiting my account approval) and i am happily working with @iconnelly and @nuecco7(account on the way).

I will will take you on a ride on the journey of campusgistars and what we working on achieving in recent years.
campusgistars was started as a student organisation in 2011 at IBB University Niger state in North Central Nigeria, West-Africa. The Idea was initiated by Igboamalu Chimezie Nelson presently known on steemit as @iconnelly. he then pitched to his colleagues in the school and together they began something in the institution. it served as a means of of information to students who were in the campus.

Efforts Intensified
In the year 2012/2013 campusgistars were spearhead by the following students, Yinka, Yunus, Nana, Elisabeth and Nelson. they all caressed the small organisation and the chief Liberian of the school was recommended whom later became the the patron. aggressively the small campus organisation was also introduced to the new university in Nassarawa state of Nigeria; Federal University Lafia. It was embraced by the students as introduced by the chief ambassador; Igboamalu Chimezie Nelson.
For the First time a woman was recorded as the president of Campusgistars in FU Lafia. Her name; Ekeke Enedi; A passionate lady for whatever she does and presently a graduate of Computer Science.

In 2014, the initiators graduated, Obi Maduachi became president of the growing institution in IBB University, while Igboamalu Chimezie Nelson became the leader on a national level as Yinka became chief correspondence. efforts were made to keep all together but to no avail due to the choking work load of leading students.

Working With Partners.

In 2016 a clear road map was made, campusgistars was to be home to all students in the world who were interested to connect with each other, learn and get useful information on happenings around world campuses. we were to use all social and available means to get everyone on board and to achieve this.

we pitched our ideas to collaborators, did presentations to investors, perhaps in a growing economy like Africa, especially westafrica ideas like this are given a last place. even when we found a partnering organisation we taught was willing to collaborate, all it did was to sap us vital information on our ideas. thus frustration sets in, I met @iconnelly and @nuecco7 working on this idea. i taught it was a great idea and would be perfect if i joined their team.

In 2017, Campusgistars assisted students especially those who were admitted in University of Abuja and Federal University Minna, also sold its First online student product. Although @iconnelly feeling the idea is a failed one, but yet he never gives up, he keeps modifying them in great and newer ways of making it interesting, this time i believe that leveraging on the steam blockchain will be a wonderful way to get things done.

Welcome To The Future of Education and World Campuses.

wow, I am really honored to take you through this amazing opportunities. I am excited to introduce one of the ideas i think is amazing and will shape campuses around the world but starting with our own campuses in Nigeria, and west Africa. honestly, we haven't made much progress in recent times, over the past seven years, we had have to start up severally, hit a dead end and stopped. i guess i am still into the dreams of this idea that i have refused to wake up. i close my face in shame, however i have believed in it in the last seven years, i see greater potential and where we want to be globally in the near future.

May i say for this we are still recruiting a team and i am excited at the partnership @bloggersheaven has created with @girlfoundation, perhaps this might take us places. Hence, we are also looking for other profitable partnerships on the steem blockchain.

The future of Campusgistars is very visible and seen in its vision and mission statements, I want to thank @chrischichi for those valuable information she released to steemians. No one is interested in failures, this is why we shall work very hard to support this idea. i will summerise all she has said in the following;

** Campusgistars is a product of Iconnelly Concepts created for students, academic institutions and education related agencies and stakeholders to lend a voice wholly to matters as related to the general public and students.** It also encompasses the sharing of information, news reporting, media coverage, communities, social networks, events, entertainments and all related academic; pleasure-seeking and satisfaction especially within campuses and institutions.

ICONNELLY CONCEPTS is a registered Organisation under the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.
CampusGistars as an idea started in 2011, from IBB University. It was to be used as a medium of news and information within Nigerian campuses and also a club for people who were passionate about student journalism.

Vision

To be a global destination for education services, campus activities and a connect to campuses on the blockchain.

Mission:
❖ To serve as a channel of distribution information within campuses and the general public.

❖ To create events within education sector and campuses both for pleasure, entertainment and social economic development.

❖ To create community, networks and linkages that brings students together to encourage learning and socialization.

❖ To assist students in key areas of life as a student and after school e.g. internship aid, etc.

❖ To help students build skills necessary for after school living and leverage on the blockchain for par time earnings.

simply put, We will be creating one of the world's foremost online campus on the blockcahian.
This is the the future of campusgistars. we hope that as the team evolve, we shall be able to build a community with were students can earn Campus coin which might be possible and usable in real life to pay within campuses around the world. This is a dream, but we believe is possible.

This introduction post shall be followed by road maps to achieving this.
