This Is Me- for fellow Steemers

I recently joined Steemit so I’d like to introduce myself to the Steemit community. My interests are music particularly old time fiddle tunes and I play these on mandolin and more recently banjo, IT Troubleshooting, fixing devices, screens and hardware. I also like to dabble in coding , Ruby on Rails and css for web development. Other interests include crypto currency, Vedic scriptures, Philosophical Daoism, which I studied academically and esoteric psychology. I am vegetarian and use essential oils, homeopathy and vibrational remedies.

I live in Australia, UK born and have 4 adult children. I work as a volunteer for a local wildlife group managing their records and also for a community technology centre that offers internet and printing services in a small rural village.

I also love to travel, I have lived in the UK, Tanzania, Taiwan and Australia and visited China, HongKong, Bali, the Phillipines, Italy, Greece, parts of Africa & hope get to the US one day to check out some old time music festivals. I love playing music with others, learning new skills, reading, writing, helping people, gardening, I talk a lot, some say probably too much, but we all have issues! I’m excited about meeting new people from around the world through Steemit and share my experiences, learn from other Steemit bloggers and get involved in crypto currency investing.

I am spending a lot of time checking out posts about best practices on Steemit and trying to get my head around all the stuff I need to learn and understand to do it right. Thanks to all the people out there that have gone to the trouble of writing informative posts to help us newbies find our way, without you we would be lost.
