ABYSS LAYS PART II

Hi, friends of Steemit, this is the English version of my post "Abismos plotted part II".

YOUR MELANCOLIC MONSTER

It will be from Spain, that I dedicate myself to fulfill the task of making known a little window of the pictorial work entitled "Plastic collection chasms traced, of the novel visual artist Francisco Marval (Fránmar)". I would say, from another dimension, on the other side of that frozen mirror of his beloved Venezuela in flames ...

"Frank Marval" is versatile, pedagogue, painter, writer, poet, chess player and yet all these facets are linked in the common desire to reveal their truth.

On one occasion, Frank told me: "Someone mentioned that he seems only a small shadow next to the glow of his paintings, for the squares of Cúmaná". Semi present or semi alive, absent for being different, for wanting to witness himself, among the mist of the pupil of a forgotten town ...

I would say that he is a guardian of light, and as such he must stop in front of his shadow, embrace it, investigate it to finally light the lanterns of his gigantic obelisks. The artist knows that magic well, because the alchemy of the philosopher's stone is not achieved, but it is the light that reveals it.

How many fights and anger, how many dreams and burials, to bring to light a Work? "Fránmar", he tells it in his writings, poems, analytical texts, and in his paintings.

His "Melancholy Monster" would be the most self-titled title of his work. See how they twist and shake the lines of their tangled graphics, and how it is creating a path of its own that leads us to reflection. Our artist is mental, psychological, passionate, and that is why his work is sometimes dismembered. Here, there, some flowers witness an undeclared romanticism. Some orders made with the best will; the will to exist and to remain with its people.

In his work we can see how a great sensibility put on the armor of the warrior of light . The wise man knows that war is not fought with war, but with light. That is why the artists, and Fránmar, in the first line, are of public utility. Usefulness not useful for the subject, but essential to be free. With all my love, Cristina Correcher Velarte.
