Introducing myself :)

Hi everyone! I'm Glorife. I'm new to this platform and I'm hoping everyone's going to welcome me warmly as I hoped this community would be. I'm not much of a socialite but I'll try to engage to everybody whenever possible.

Well, I'm currently a programmer by profession. I mostly do coding and IT-related stuff, but I'm into writing as well since I was a kid. I'm hoping I could post different contents here, as much as possible. I'm into travelling also. I travel from time to time around the Philippines, as of this writing. But sooner or later, I have plans of visiting other countries. I will post some of my travels here soon.

    Hello goglori! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.

        Do you already have an idea of what kind of things you will post about exactly, will that be only traveling or something about programming. Have you ever done any game dvelopmnet?
        I've also just recently joined Steemit myself and I find the community to be really chill for the most part, however I guess you won't really be into the stuff I post about :) it's about gaming.

        Hi! I actually plan on posting about my travels for most part, and a little about poetry. I had developed a game before but that was years ago, and I'm more focused on web applications nowadays :) Will check your feeds, I'm into mobile games anyway so it may came in handy one of these days :)
