Crazy Cat Lady vs Ancient Aliens

Hello Steemers. My name is Kelley and I am making my first post here. So Hey!

Actually I've been here for a while, I've just never made a post. It's hard to know what to say, especially about myself.

Let's see....I'm a Baby Boomer and an actress from Canada. I'm hoping to make a few extra bucks online in a way that leaves me with enough flexibility to go out for auditions or be on set.

Here is a shot of me on the Red Carpet at this years Toronto International Film Festival.

I was at TIFF as an audience member not as a participant. I wanted to see some films, get inspired and maybe do some star-gazing. I made that dress by the way.

I saw some great films and had a good time but unfortunately the only stars I saw were these..LOL

I signed up for Steemit a few years ago but didn't really get the whole crypto currency thing. I really didn't dig what Steem was, how to get some or why I should want it. Now I am giving it another look and I see it's a great platform for people with something to say to have a voice, and interact with some amazing peeps.

Oh yeah, my interests are movies, (science fiction mostly), live theater, classic rock, karaoke, travel, and my cats. These guys.

I'm also become an ancient history buff over the last few years. My bucket list consists of exploring a lot of ancient ruins: Egypt, Greece, Mexico etc. I got addicted to Ancient Aliens a few years ago. You know, the idea that Earth was visited in the distant past by aliens and left advanced knowledge behind? Although I'm not sure I believe all of that, there is enough to make the science fiction geek in me go "That's weird. Cooool!"

I love weird.

So I'm looking forward to reading a bunch of cool posts and posting some strange and funny stuff that I hope you will find interesting. I'll try to keep the crazy rants down to a minimum. No promises. If the Winnipeg Jets have a crappy season then all bets are off.
