June 11, 2018 - We are the dreamer, fighting for the believer!

Finally! I entered a unique and amazing platform. I've heard a lot of good murmurs about steemit so I or should I say we, decided to enter this world. Yes, we named our account as mananayawph because we would like to wander here as group. We will be here by one goal and one heart. We are the Philippines boys attraction from Manila, Philippines. We are hoping to meet new good peeps here as we are fighting for our greatest dream.

Mananayaw means "Dancer" and PH stands for our dear country - Philippines.

We are composed of 22 members around 12-22 years old. We are based in Malabon Metro Manila competing in different dance competition. All of us are still studying but despite the hardship of balancing the studies and our passion, we are still making it.

"We dance to express not to impress."

Most of the people are asking WHY we are dancing? What are the purpose of doing such thing? Some of them are even telling us to stop because it's just nonsense. We are just wasting time and energy on every night's rehearsal. We are not winning every competition and we will be forever losers.

At first, we are so affected with their words. But then, why will I lose the most precious thing that I love the most? Why will I bow with the hindrances on our way? We are happy on what we're doing. We never felt the weight on studying under sleepy head because of dancing the whole night. And yes, not all the competition are named under our crew but we never lose our faith. We never accepted to be called as losers instead, we step up to move forward. We made everything to be on top and as time goes by; all the body pain, all the hard breathing, all the sleepless night, all the painful words and all the tiring nights resulted into sweet fruits. We made it to be nominated on top and we made it to be ranked as champion.

Another obstacle of our journey is the fight between our passion and our parents. We are so grateful to have a supportive parents but not all people looks on the same direction. Our group was tested again by the parents of some of our brothers and sisters. We are as solid as rock but when it comes to family affairs, we have nothing to do with it. We are crying when some of our brothers needs to stop dancing because their parents asked them to do so. The peak of our career started to fall back again. We stopped for awhile to re-block all the formations until we made our decision.

One for all, All for one!

We talked to each other to make a solution. I just saw ourselves knocking on our brother's door. Yes, we decided to talk to their parents hoping for a positive answer. I can hear the heart beats of each other as we entered every house. We talked to their parents acting like we're an adult. We are tried our very best to tell them how important the dance for us. We almost cried asking for permissions just to complete what we started.

Because of God, yes! We made it again! All the support of everyone's parents are with us. It just feels so magical to do what you love while the important people of you life are watching and clapping behind your back.

Because of all the struggles, our brotherhood - family became stronger as the great wall of china. It became tough as a screaming lion and the fire of our dream just fueled up.

We are not a group, but we are a TEAM!
