Introduce yourself
I finally managed to create account to Steemit community! My friend advised me to do this for quite a long time now and during the Christmas holidays I finally made it happen. I guess I’m a member of the Steemit now.
Something about myself: my name is Marko and I’m 31 years old, I live in Tampere Finland with my wife and 10 months old boy. I’m not active to use social media applications such like Facebook or Twitter, but this could be the thing for me. Not last and not least, I’m a big fan of all sci-fi and fantasy series such as Star Wars and Stargate. Game of Thrones is maybe the best story so far.
The reason why I decided to join Steemit is mainly because I find this to be a good way to get familiar with cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies are relatively new area and I have no experience of this at all, even though I’m an enthusiastic investor in other areas. So far, I have invested around some money in stock markets and other. Now, I have decided to expand my knowledge to where so many has not gone before.
That was a short summary about who I am. Feel free to ask me any question or just say hi!

I joined Steem in February this year. I have lived in Lahti for the last four and a half years but before that I lived in Tampere for 35 years. I grew up there and who knows maybe I will return someday.
I have also invested in cryptocurrencies and I hold many. I started out with Bitcoin in 2013 and have since diversified heavily. While I don't think Bitcoin will give up its dominance for quite some time, there many more technologically advanced coins that are much better suited for mass adoption at this time. I think Steem (the social media blockchain ) and its cryptocurrencies are potentially on the cusp of mass adoption. Steem has roughly half a million users at present. I think the number has doubled since last summer. Facebook has two billion users. Imagine what a market penetration of only 1% of that could do to the value of STEEM.

I have also invested in some cryprocurrencies but I've just started. Hope steem will grow hugely! As you wrote, there is huge potential.

Hello, am new aswell to the platform. Who knows any website other than www.earncrypto.com that is as legit for earning quick steem and other cryptos by watching videos and doing data entry. I believe cryptos are the future. It's best to have as much as one can.

Someone told me of this new coin www.sphere.social they're are giving free 100 coins for signing up. The coins would be worth far more when they do their ICO.
