Mi vida como Sobreviviente a un vuelco | My life as a Survivor to an automobile rollover

in #introduceyourself6 years ago

** I come from a generation of men who cry little, those where it is forbidden to show those signs of weakness, I remember seeing my father cry only once, the night of the grandmother's funeral and hiding behind one of the walls of the house where he grew up. **

They say that my father also cried when I almost died in a car accident that I had in 2009, I was returning from El Baúl (small town located in the south of Cojedes state, Venezuela), it could have been true, after all, he I did not want us to return that afternoon to San Carlos (Capital of Cojedes), but as the things of destiny are, that particular day we had to return, however it happened; In addition, what could have happened to us, we were in the van of the newly elected Mayor of El Baúl, escorted by his security chief, who took out his gun before leaving the town and swear to us that nothing bad would happen.

On that trip we were my friend Jhonner Zerpa, the municipal security chief and my two best friends for the rest of eternity: Franklin Hernández (no family relationship) and Leonardo Testa, we never allowed a driver to exceed 100 km / h, ** * "After 100 Christ is taken down" *** always said Leonardo, meanwhile Franklin affirmed that *** "80 Kms yield more the road" *** for my part, I referred to pray to all celestial entities that gave reflections to the driver and away the traffic from the road.

Something happened that day, nobody spoke, all the routine actions were changed, Jhonner who always sat as co-pilot, could not this time, Leo said: *** "sit behind me I want to go comfortable" ***, I was going I usually sat at the center as a good pupil of my two teachers, to discuss the progress of the investigation we were doing, that day I told Jhonner: *** "Sit in the middle, the children should not go in the car doors" ***, this time Franklin did not drive the vehicle.

The driver came from a couple of crashes before, all due to automobile negligence - ** "we did not know it until very late" ** - he drove at 150 km / h and nobody of us could notice it. We had just signed a millionaire agreement to conduct an investigation that would change all the geopolitics of the Cojedes state, we had discovered how to orient a better distribution of power and wealth, but none of that mattered to us, we would pass to the book of immortals, as pioneers of the evolution of our State.

My brain blocked everything from the overturn, from the shock that came to us from surprise, Jhonner always tells me that the driver tried to overtake another vehicle and found himself facing another car that was coming in the opposite lane, he lost control and the tires on the side of the Co-pilot fell from the shoulder of the road, the vehicle was two wheels on the road and two on the ground outside the asphalt paint, instead of going straight and decrease that was appropriate, the driver tried to climb the truck again to the road, the edge was high, speed was even higher, the car overturned and in seconds I lost consciousness, the integrity of 5 different bones and my two best friends.

Hours and days passed until my brain stabilized, at times I would babble things, funny things ironically; to the weeks, already having escaped to the claws of the death, with my dear beings and the people in whom we had influenced surrounding me in the bed, I asked for the boys. They all said the same thing, "They're fine" "They're better than you" and things like that, I knew something was wrong. After two months, already at home, but still unable to lift more than her neck, my mother decided to tell me what I already sensed. They had died in the accident.

I cried. All the voices of the brain were silent, I cried like I never did before and is that never before a loved one had died, tears fell for hours, I wanted to run away but the multiple fractures did not allow me to leave the clinical bed. Each memory, became a reason for crying, so go, for days, one day I decided not to cry anymore, not for them. they died having been free for once in their lives, they left their routine offices and went out for a dream, today they rest with their loved ones in universal memory, while I rode life looking for what they found the freedom to do that beloved .

Hola hopo04 Thank for the welcome, see you blog in this moment

Hey Juan, @sultnpapper here. In the English version of your post put the * inside the quotation marks like this "* " that will give this look" you are trying to get.

Thank you boss, the truth always ahead.

I just got you verified. You should be good to go. I am going to remove my invite so others don't try to use it.

I ended up thinking that, after reading an article
