Who Am I?steemCreated with Sketch.

Who Am I? It is an "ancient" question, isn't it?
So.. let's start...

I’m named Ivone. My pronouns are she/her/hers.
I’m fair-skinned Asian. I'm cis-gendered woman and I'm still single at 42.
I am stubborn as hell and will not budge when I know I am right.
I love growing my own veggies, even if only in pots on a balcony.
I know how to fix general electronics, like iron and lighting fixtures.
I can clean the inside of a computer and yes, I know the difference between a floopy disk and usb drive.
I’m an ambivalent, leaning on introvert with moderate mood swing and a temper you wish you never know.
I love to eat and cook all food, one of my stress managements.
I love all chocolate, especially dark chocolate. I love stinky fruit, especially durian.
I can ferment food, such as kimchi, sauerkraut and pickles.
I love organic brewing, learned to make Jun, Kombucha and Tepache. Have 4 years old Jun and Tepache.
I love single and blended malts and its derivatives, Bushmills is one of my favourites.
I love music and to sing, but not in public, unless it is in mass and church.
I have a degrees in economic management, but I hate accounting, in spite of the fact that I work with it most of the time.
I was the first person in my immediate family to get a Bachelor’s degree, probably the only one, till the next generation.
I love all food, but I’m mostly omnivorous with balance in veggies and fruits.
I grew up in a town called Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia and moved away at 29.
I am bilingual in formal Indonesian and English since I was 6 years old, adding spoken Fujian (a Chinese dialect) at age 12, but never studies abroad.
I love to pick up verses and phrases in other languages from all around the world, like c'est la vie, muchas gracias, ich liebe dich and danke school.
I grew up in frugal family, save every penny earned before spending it. Wear 5yrs old shoes and 10yrs old clothes, never follow trend and only wear classic.
First time I am abroad at age 29 and it is the first time I used my passport. That year, I move out of my parent's house, the town and the island altogether. I never regret it and never look back.
I also speak fluent sarcasm and asking inquisitive questions. Oh yes, I have a built-in lie detector.
I taught myself to knit from internet with Google and Youtube. I learn to be patient by learning to knit, not the other way around.
I can also sew, embroider, crochet and spin.
I love to teach knitting to anyone who is seriously want to learn and pay attention.
I love nature exploring, taking picture of nature and candid photography of people's quirks, not always appreciated, but I do not care… half of the times.
I’m tall and big bone woman with extra on the side and I find it tiring, so going down 10kgs is in order. I have big feet, making it easy to buy shoes for dad, but not for mom.
I’m a very serious person with a very complicated way of thinking that annoy most men.
I love making change happen, but I hate fighting people for the changes.

Hi, officially welcome to Steem(it) now. :)

Unfortunately this place often looks somewhat inhabited/deserted (or more like a playground of bots) at the first glance because many established users are just too lazy (yes, YOU ARE!) to manually seek, really read, evaluate and hopefully upvote articles of not so well known users - instead of that they prefer to upvote their friends and supporters in an automated way ... (and then they wonder why people stick with Facebook :) .

Nevertheless here are hidden some very nice and interesting people. I will resteem your post and hope that it will get some more views then. :)

Thanks @jaki01. Much appreciated.

You are welcome!
To be successful here much patience is required. :)

Welcome @riyuuhi

Welcome.

OMG... Duriaaan... I didn't have the chance to enjoy that fruit. T_T

Quote: "Wear 5yrs old shoes and 10yrs old clothes, never follow trend..."

I think, we are not much different either in this part. :-D
Our difference is that I likes wearing dress too while you likes jeans more. Well... I'm chubby and don't have long legs, so jeans just don't fit me well LOL.
Welcome to steemit... I wish you success here too. <3

@kobold-djawa we'll make sure that we have time to get durian and young coconut next trip you come here.

I don't like to wear dress much if I work or play, rather lazy to behave like a girl. Pants and jeans are easier. Still wear skirts and dresses for formal functions... plus heels and makeup by myself.... 😂😂😂

Aku lihat postingan ini malah kangen banget sama durian Medan, Mbak. Aku lahir dan besar di Medan.

Di Jakarta rasanya beda. 😆

Welcome riyuuhi to Steemit!

Your introduction reads very interesting, I'm looking forward to your further posts. Nice having you here!

Thank you @vieanna. Nice to know you.

Love your fun photos and your great smile.

Hello Ivone!

The resteem of @jaki01 worked. That's how I saw your post.

This is a great self-introduction post!
I enjoyed reading it so much.

You seem to be a very original and interesting woman.
The men around you might be a little stupid if they don't recognize your attractiveness.

I wish you good luck here on Steemit.

See you soon. And love greetings, @double-u

Thanks for the comliment, @double-u.
I hope that not of all the men "be a little stupid".

Looking forward to your posts, too.

Selamat datang @ryuuhi.I really enjoyed your introduction, I’m also new around here and love durian and chocolate, even at the same time. A single malt friend is a friend indeed. I left home at 18 in the states, never looked back, didn’t finish college, ended up living in Malaysia. I speak a couple languages poorly, saya sedang belajar bahasa melayu, tamil, and some hokkien curse words 😂.. mi español es terrible pero mi segundo lengua..

I love horticulture, I started an aquaponics system here at the tadika I help my very soon to be wife run. I’ve lived off of, and with plants since I can remember.

I’m not here for the money as much as the fame, just kidding, totally want that loot, just kidding again, I also am most fluent in sarcasm. Please do follow me as I will surely stalk, I mean follow you.

hi @skramatters,
Thanks for the welcome. Everyone who learn Hokkien started off with the swear words, not the proudest moments for now.
Ain't we all here for the loot? Nothing ashamed on that.
You are welcome to stalk as long as it is mutually beneficial.

It’s good to know I’m not alone in hokkien thing, and yes money would be great, it seems clear the way to accomplish that here is to network and build relationships via comments and on discord.the discord app is a must ! I’m just getting started in there, it’s all very new to me. I in fact just commented on a post “the best way to make money fast on steemit” I replied, talk mad crazy shit to a whale 🐳🗣 I can’t shake of my sarcasm bwhahaha..all the best, are you still in SE Asia ? If so, definitely find for a discord link in your area I know this is a surefire way to make contacts with people that want to genuinely help..
