MY LIFE STORY-The Battle Inside And Path To Recovery!

I’m a crypto enthusiast,traveler,amature photographer and a former SQL developer identified by code name Siris .

My life has been a roller coaster ride.I had my good share of ups and downs .

First I'm going to talk about brighter side of my life.

WHY I LOVE TRAVELLING SO MUCH?
The travel bug bite me when I was fifteen, every six months our clan takes break from day to day life and embark on a mission to explore new boundaries.
Nothing can match the thrill of exploring unfamiliar territories,meeting new people and tasting different cuisines .
At the end of every tour I have rediscovered myself ,learnt to let go my past and have a positive outlook .
Travelling is the best school which teaches you life lessons which can’t be found in any textbook.

WHY PHOTOGRAPHY?
Photographs can freeze memorable moments, Which can be later shared with loved one's and it also helps us to relive the story behind every click at comfort of our home. I may not be a professional but I click photos by intuition.

HOW I CAME TO KNOW ABOUT CRYPTO'S AND STEEMIT?
One of my close friend introduce me to the world of bitcoins and have been hooked ever since.I have been following cryptocurrencies very closely since past 6 months .
After trying many websites, faucets,micro working sites to get my hands on crypto’s but all in vain.It was too much work for very little returns.
Roughly forty five days ago I happen to tumble up on steemit ,currently I'm twenty two days old on this platform and loving every second of it.

Now let me talk about dark side of my life!

WHAT'S MY SECRET?
I have been depressed on and off for a decade and last year it got so worse that I couldn’t work anymore and had to quit my job in march 2017 .There were many instances when I almost killed myself.I had a massive mental breakdown in September 2017 and a string of events forced me to seek professional help. On my very first session I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and anxiety, since then I have been put on medication and I’m recovering slowly
If you know any friend or family member suffering in silence, please pursue them to reach out for help, it will save them from all the emotional turmoil .
I have been hiding my condition from family and friends for many years, it destroyed my relationship with loved one’s ,ruined my college life and took away my ability to work. All this could have been avoided if I was aware of my condition.
By revealing it on this platform , I want to break the stigma associated with metal health condition.

HOW STEEMIT IS HELPING ME?
I think steemit is a great platform to express my thoughts and dreams without the fear of being judged.
My twenty two days journey on this platform gave me a sense of identity ,restore my confidence and also helped
me escape my loneliness by meaningful interaction and engagement with like minded people in this community.
Through my blog posts I want to share my travel experiences via photographs and unlock the secret's about cryptocurrency.(crypto millionaires don't want you to know)
