Introducing me and my pack to the Steemit community.

Hello everyone! My name is George and I've been on Steemit since early January 2018 (post crypto boom)
I stumbled across this site when I was researching crytocurrencies & blockchain technologies and their massive growth in late 2017. The fact that this whole platform had already been created (and already in Beta) really had me intrigued as we in the cryto market always seem to hear about new upcoming projects on the horizon and not necessarily projects with an actual product already ready for consumption! To say I was excited was an understatement.

In all honesty, I struggled to really understand how to effectively use the platform at first. I saw all of these posts that people were making in the Trending topics and how much revenue they were generating that it intimidated me. I see all of these posts that are crafted with such care that I was thinking to myself, "What do I have to offer to the Steemit community?" I got discouraged and sheepishly decided to take a break.

I guess I should probably give some more info on myself since I am posting this to #introduceyourself. I have a lovely fiance, who is the world to me as I tackle the IT world during the day being good ole' support as I dream big . Before I met the woman of my dreams, I had one very special man in my life... My little guy Bob (rescued boston terrier mix). I've always been a dog lover and Bob is essentially the reason I found my SO. Since we both share the love for our dogs, we spend a lot of time lounging around and being lazy. Since then our pack has grown and now we have Larry, Lola, Bob, and Baby K aka Karl the chihuahua. Our family is quite happy and I get more used to using Steemit and the eSteem app; I will continue to learn and grow on the Steemit platform. In the mean time I will continue to comment and post on things that I think others may appreciate. Thanks for reading if you took the time - I struggled to get started and now that I started I'm starting to ramble!! Expect more crypto talk in the future!!

Edit: I had to add a pic of Lola! She is usually pretty camera shy and keeps to herself which is why she's not in the group shot!! If you enjoy the doggy pics please let me know. Also - it seems that Vlogs are the way to go judging by other Introduceyourself posts... I will try doing a video at a later time and go a bit more into detail about my normal life :)
