I'll name this "The Symphony of my life" And this is where i tell you a little bit about me.

Before i begin, i want to show you this:

"Try to control your fears, Music is not easy and only if you work hard you'll get to master it."

And I'm sharing this with you because that's what my story is based on...

Hello Sweeties! My name is Valeria, i'm 18 years old and i'm a singer songwriter. I'm an apprentice of piano and a dancer in training. I'm from this beautiful place called Venezuela but i'm living in Santiago de Chile right now. I left my country a few months ago because of the horrible situation it is going through. I left with the only purpose of getting a better future for me and my family, a future that Venezuela can't give to us young generation, at least not at this moment. And much less to me that i'm dedicated to the artistic and cultural part, things that are not working since years in there.
Anyway, that's not what i'm going to talk about today.

This is me

And this is me in my pijamas, making sure i follow the steemit recommendation haha ;)

And like everyone on earth, i also have a passion to follow, a dream and goals to get real. And to me, it is Music.

"I always knew i would sing, so i never swam" -Miley Cyrus.

I think that's one of the phrases that identifies me the most. Because i have the certainty to say that the only thing that makes me happy, the only thing that completes me and give a purpose to my life is Music.

When I was little my favorite song was Cara Luna by Bacilos ... Well, Also was "Asereje" but now I can't remember the name of the girls who sang it. With them I used to made kind of recitals and dances to my parents and other relatives. I still remember the euphoria and excitement I felt when my little shows ended and they applauded me. And even being so small I decided that I wanted to feel that happiness again, to express myself and be heard, many times more.

The school was the first place where I decided to make my talent known and this made room for my first time on stage...

My music teacher from the school told me that it would be better if I learned to play guitar, to accompany myself in my presentations and there was no advice he would give me thta i wouldn't to follow. So the week after that, my mom gave me my first guitar and I immediately started learning. I'm still learning :)

After that, I never let it go.
This is what I'm passionate about. When I sing I feel myself, I feel free, as if the rest of the world does not exist, as if all the worries inside my head disappear, it's just me in that little moment the song lasts and I never want it to end . Standing in front of a lot of people and making them lose themselves with me in each song is definitely a feeling that i wouldn't change for anything in the world.

(I already miss it by the way...)

For this same passion that I've shown since i was a child, my mother took on the task of being my engine, of being the one who gives me the strength and courage to continue when not even myself think that it's worth it (or that i'm worth it). And even in the little we have had and even if she lacked clothes to wear or shoes to wear, she worked hard to buy me my first microphone, my first guitars and amplifier, pay for my first singing workshops, my first music classes, get me presentations, costumes and makeup for my concerts and recitals.

In short, all these years she has been doing what is in her hands to put at my reach the things that have made me grow and develop in this. For that reason I will be eternally grateful to her, and to be honest, is one of the main reasons why I don't dare give up.

That was my most recent presentation, months before I left Venezuela.
Under the direction of the Academy of Arts Enartes C.A. I was singing Eres todo en mi by Ana Gabriel and What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong.

In spite of all this, I have always been a shy and closed person, sometimes a little insecure of myself (sometimes a lot), but with this dream that's so extroverted and demands me confidence and security, demands charisma and also establishing relationships with others. Was then where Dancing came (to which I was also driven by my mom). And it is what gave to my artistic and personal life what was missing.

When I dance I feel immensely happy, as if I am full of electric charge. And in my opinion, it is the perfect complement for every singer.

For the moment I am a salsa casino instructor, and a dancer in training of urban music and hip hop.
I keep working to be better every day in all aspects and be more professional. I know I still have a lot to learn and to do, but this is just the beginning and I will not give up.
And well ... I'm just telling you my story to show you that I take this very seriously, that this is what I love doing and that's why I'm here today at Steemit, sharing it with you. I hope I hadn't get you guys bored!
Also letting you know that the content that I will be posting is purely artistic / musical.
