The Black Stone

The black stone is a stone of several parts, with oval shape , black-red to reddish, diameter 30 cm, located in the south-east corner of the Kaaba from the outside, according to the Islamic faith, it is the starting point of the tawaaf and the ends, it rises from the ground a meter and a half, surrounded with Pure silver to protect it, and shows the place of the oval stone. Its black color is due to the sins committed according to the narrations of the Prophet Muhammad.

Where Ibn Abbas narrated from the Prophet Muhammad that he said: «The Black Stone came from Paradise it was whiter than snow and was corrupted by the sins of the sons of Adam»
The stone is black in the appearance , and the rest of it is the same as white.

Muhammad ibn Khuza'a described it when the Qaramite give back the stone in 339 AH and examined it before putting it in its place. He said: "I looked at the black stone, when it was cut off. It is black in the head only, and all of it is white,

The Black Stone is considered one of the stones of Paradise. The Prophet Muhammad said: "The Black Stone is one of the stones of Paradise." He said, "The stone is from the sapphire of heaven." The Prophet Muhammad said: "The pillar and shrine are sapphires of the sapphire of heaven.

Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr was the first to cover the black stone with silver and then was followed by the caliphs in the work of hoops of silver whenever necessary and in Shaaban 1375 AH King Saud bin Abdul Aziz put a new hoop of silver and was restored during the reign of King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz in 1422
