Juventus FC, on the other hand, offered a lower price and a higher number of installments. For this reason and for Romelu Lukaku's desire to play in the Milan club, the story ended in favor of the Nerazzurri team.
Lukaku is the reference striker of the new Inter branded Antonio Conte. A second player of thickness is expected by the end of the market and the name that has been around for some time is that of the current Roma striker, Dzeko.
Più avvincente di una telenovelas, la vicenda Romelu Lukaku ha animato il mercato estivo. L'attacante belga è stato infatti conteso per alcune settimane tra l'Inter e la Juventus ed ha vissuto momenti di tensione proprio tra le due squadre italiane, decise ad acquistare il giocatore del Manchester United.
Entrambi i club hanno corteggiato il giocatore e la squadra inglese a suon di milioni e si sono avvicendate notizie dell'imminente acquisto sia dal club di Torino e sia dal club di Milano. Alla fine l'ha spuntata la società neroazzurra.
Il fattore determinante in questa battaglia tra i due club è stato soprattutto la volontà di Lukaku di essere allenato da Antonio Conte e di voler giocare in una squadra dove il giocatore belga sarà la pedina più importante. L'apprezzamento di Conte nei confronti del giocatore belga risale alla sua presenza di allenatore nel Chelsea e che non si è mai concretizzato.
Decisiva anche la manovra economica da parte dell'Inter FC: 65 milioni in 4 tranche + un bonus di 13 milioni in caso di raggiungimento degli obiettivi + un bonus aggiuntivo sulla cessione futura del giocatore. La Juventus FC invece aveva offerto un prezzo più basso e con un numero di rate più alte. Per questo motivo e per la voglia di Romelu Lukaku di giocare nel club milanese, la vicenda si è chiusa a favore della squadra nerazzurra.
Lukaku è l'attacante di riferimento della nuova Inter targata Antonio Conte. Una secondo giocatore di spessore è atteso entro la fine del mercato ed il nome che già è in giro da diverso tempo è quello dell'attuale attaccante della Roma, Dzeko.
