Winding Roads.

_{Life catches us off guard in a variety of ways. We want to be ready for them on one hand. But should we also produce them as well? The answer is generally no. We had some oatmeal. Rick was wearing Batman pajamas. We went to church. We were in Dan's cell group during Sunday School, where we talked about the sword of the spirit, Dan, Rick Arnold, Maria, Oatmeal, and Marilyn Mitchell. During the service, Maria and Rick shared with the church about their ministry in Honduras. After lunch, Rick drove all four of us back home, which is only about 3 miles, but then he surprised us with missing our exit, our turn. We went over ten miles down the road, northwest of Shelton, WA, to an all-natural restaurant that had chickens running around. Surprises can hurt us. Surprises can be good and bad. It depends. Me & Rick both ordered fish & chips just like we did Friday night in Seattle. I ordered ice-cream. Oh, the fried were burnt and deep fries. I regret it. We took photos and then went home. Me & Rick played basketball and forgot to bring our cameras. Rick landed on my foot and sprain his ankle. He recovered and it was 19-29, my lead. then it was 30-27, my lead. Then he tied, 30-30. Then he scored a few more points. I made a few too but we lost track of the score. We then came back home. And all four of us went to the evening service. Their shared their ministry with the church that night. After that, we went to Denny's with the worship and ministry leaders. We had good conversations, all day, concerning things related to religion, basketball, translation problems, jokes, passion, public speaking, joy, grace, Jesus, our lives, childhood memories, random things, music, travel stories, things related to Honduras, America, missions, etc.}
