Sizzla - Too much wickedness -lyrics and insight into conscious music- It’s harder than you think

I actually took the time to listen and write out these lyrics ( didn’t take more than 5 minutes.)

I really appreciate Sizzlas righteous lyrics and infact these are the types of songs I’d like to make. Studying his lyrics, they are quite simple and eternal. It is a actually harder to write a hype song with metaphors and slangs you would think, but that’s what comes natural to a mind grown in the culture of Dancehall.

I can’t explain it, but there is vibration in dancehall artiste that makes you feel like the hype is what you should be making, it is what comes natural as it is the dominant force in the space. To tune into the conscious vibe of the earth and create songs like these takes meditation and deep spiritual awakening. Something not easy to find in a busy world full of noise.

Even listening to interviews with Chronixx and Protoje, “a conscious tune is the hardest kind of tune to make but in essence it is building and talking from the perspective of who you seek to be or the truth you have seen.”
( something along those lines )

Take in these lyrics , some powerful messages & meditations

Lyrics: Too much Wickedness by Sizzla

Only the good man get a fight and the poor man shuv aside. You can never do nothing right, and badmind don’t criticize, every time you make a move, that’s the time they wanna prove and you humble and keep your faith, dem still a send Babylon ina you place.

Too much wickedness a gwaaan pon earth.*4

Some people will try their best work hard just to mek tings deh bout,
Other people a trap dem a set, some people just come fi sell out. Some poepl just deal with war, some people just deal with love. Wicked people unu nah guh reach far,
Unu shed to much innocent blood.

Too much wickedness a gwaan pon earth *4

Young people in this world, be careful of what you do,
Protect the little boys and girls, the whole place infested with eveil.
Rasta man give out the chant, give Selassie I the praises,
Righteousness the people want, more fire more fire sizza blazin.

Too much wickedness a gwaan pon earth *4

Only the good man get a fight and the poor man shuv aside. You can never do nothing right, and badmind don’t criticize, every time you make a move, that’s the time they wanna prove and you humble and keep your faith, dem still a send Babylon ina you place.

Too much wickedness a gwaan pon earth *4

Sizzla is one of the most conscious and intelligent artist in reggae right now. He has strong values that he doesn't back down from. The man even speak Amharic (Official language of Etheopia ) fluently. His songs are timeless especially "Dry Cry"

@dmilliz, I agree with you on one point and that is, real flow of words and slangs comes out after the true Awakening and it comes from meditation and and after understanding our higher self. Music is divine aspect.
