What does Japanese youth like?steemCreated with Sketch.

Quite a strange question, it may seem to you. But the Japanese always stood out among other peoples and had rather strange hobbies. And the modern youth of the Land of the Rising Sun is also able to surprise and, to some extent, shock foreigners when it comes to how they have fun.

And they have fun in several ways:

Go to karaoke.

Read the manga.

Watch anime.

Watching movies.

Go shopping.

Pamper yourself with food.

Everything, except the first point, as you can see, is, to a greater extent, entertainment for one. This is caused by the mentality of the Japanese, who, like years earlier, are extremely reluctant to reveal themselves to others. It’s rare when you can meet a Japanese or Japanese woman who has a best friend or best friend. It is quite normal for us to communicate closely with any person, to reveal our fears, joys and fears to him. But this is not peculiar to the Japanese, they prefer to keep everything in themselves.

As for manga, anime and films, then everything should be clear. In general, reading manga in Japan has long been erected in some kind of cult. Almost every Japanese reads these works, of which a great many are published in the country every year. These three areas are closely interconnected (anime can appear on films, then manga will be released on the basis of the anime plot and vice versa), and therefore this is an endless turn of fan service and attracts Japanese youth.

Karaoke in Japan, by the way, is also for singles, and for a group of friends. In the country, almost every person at least once in his life tried to squeeze out a song or two to the noisy gaggles of the others :) Personally, I generally do not perceive this hobby, but the Japanese are karaoke crazy.

Food for the Japanese is almost the main expense item in the budget. And this despite the fact that trips to restaurants and cafes are much more affordable for them than for Russians. With us, such a voyage can cost a fairly substantial amount, especially if we treat someone. And the Japanese can freely afford not to eat at home, but to earn and eat in a not-so-prestigious, but not in a bomzhar institution. By the way, they constantly try something new, pamper themselves with delicacies and then brag to their friends and colleagues about the new experience.

Shopping is another Japanese maniac. And they, you guessed it, also love to do it alone. Citizens walk around various institutions, try and feel a bunch of goods, but they don’t buy anything. They have grown into some kind of unofficial national sport. At the same time, sellers are not furious because of this and do not build sour physiognomies, saying with all their appearance, “yes you lifted up, buy something already”.

Also, many Japanese people like to visit gaming centers, where a bunch of slot machines are located. Internet cafes with dozens of downloaded computer games (in particular, online RPGs) are also popular.

Such are the things. Now you know a little bit about the Japanese and how they have fun.
