The taxi ride from the new Hong Kong airport to the center takes about thirty minutes and costs about 350 Hong Kong dollars. The exchange rate is 15 yen to the dollar so that’s about 5000 yen. You can see a huge container ship terminal with rows of massive cranes that makes Osaka port look small. Again you feel the commercial power of China. The taxi driver told us they are completing an 80km long road bridge to Macao and mainland China soon. He expects competition from Chinese Uba drivers. Business has got worse for him has dropped by about 25% since China took Hong Kong over. He blames government policy and that they discourage Chinese from visiting Hong Kong because of its democratic tradition.

出来るってタクシーの方がおっしゃってました。
