@funditionを知ったときに、「ブロックチェーンを使ったクラウドファンディングの初めての事例かな？」と思ったのですが、最近、Bitcoincashを使ったクラウドファンディングのアプリケーション Lighthouseというものがあることを知りました。
kuriさんが、Mediumで書かれた「マイク・ハーンのクラウドファンディングプロジェクト「Lighthouse」がビットコインキャッシュでカムバック」によると、もともとは2015年にビットコインの開発者
マイク・ハーン氏が、Lighthouseを立ち上げていたそうです。
しかし、ビットコインのスケーリング問題により、プロジェクトは止まったのものの、ビットコインキャッシュを使ったアプリケーションとして再始動しているそうです。
キックスターター、インディーゴーゴーなどの企業が行うクラウドファンディングと、SteemやBitcoincashを使ったものとの違いについて考えたり、触れてみたいなと思います。
@funditionやLighthouseが本格的に活用されるようになったら、何か面白いことが起こる予感がしています。
