"You'll Never Come Back by Thirsty Moon" (1974)

in #jazz5 years ago

Thirsty Moon was a German band founded in the 70's in Bremen. The members of the band were the brothers Jürgen and Norbert Drogies. The first in charge of the guitar, the second in charge of the drums. Also participating in the group, keyboardist Michael Kobs, bassist Harald Konietzko, percussionist Erwin Noack, saxophonist Willi Pape and guitarist Siegfried Pisalla. The musical proposal of Thirsty Moon, is within the coordinates of a progressive jazz rock, linked to the sounds of Krautrock; a strong dose of funk and Latin sounds can be found as the band's personal label, which makes it a group that is worth taking into account. "You'll Never Come Back" corresponds to their second studio album, released on 1974, and it is a very good album to start listening to this great group ... =)
