Summertime and hot music, that will await you today! With Maria João we enter the wonderful world of jazz and scat-singing. My first contact with her was the first big concert with Aki Takase in 1987 in Moers, since then I have fallen for her and enjoy every second of her presence on stage. In the videos we experience different stages of her career, let us enchant her voice and take us on a journey in unusual rhythms and melodies that will also change your heart.

Mein erster Kontakt mir ihr war das erste große Konzert mit Aki Takase 1987 in Moers, seitdem bin ich ihr verfallen und geniese jede Sekunde ihrer Präsenz auf der Bühne. In den Videos erleben wir verschiedene Stationen ihrer Karriere, lassen uns von ihrer Stimme verzaubern und mitnehmen auf eine Reise in ungewöhnlichen Rhythmen und Melodien die auch dein Herz verändern werden.

Doch jetzt, in aller Ruhe, ganz früh am Morgen, die Zeit zum Genießen.
Wie ich mal wieder erkennen kann, ist die Wundertüte noch lange nicht leer.
Diese Take-Five Version hatte ich noch nie zuvor gehört. Zumal ich früher immer der Meinung war, der Titel brauche keinen Text. Doch Maria João hat keinen Text, sondern ein weiteres Instrument eingebracht.
