Active charcoal

Although it seems less conventional, charcoal or activated charcoal actually has long been used to reduce pain caused by gas in the intestine. The black material works by absorbing acids and gases that accumulate in the stomach, which are often responsible for digestive disorders and cause flatulence.

According to Skilton, tablets made from activated charcoal are effective in reducing some of the symptoms associated with poor bloating, by absorbing biotoxin toxins in the intestine.

Green vegetable

Eating lots of green vegetables is not only good for health, but also proven to be beneficial for the intestines. According to Jeannette Hyde, author of The Gut Makeover, starting the day by eating green vegetables helps digestion because it helps digestion of food and does not make the digestive tract swollen, thus avoiding flatulence.

Skilton also believes that eating more vegetables can help relieve flatulence due to constipation. Examples of vegetables that can be consumed include kale, spinach, watercress, broccoli, beets, and green dandelions.

Celery

Nutritionists agree that celery is a superfood, especially if the body stores excess fluid. Celery naturally helps the digestive system to move so that it can remove excess fluid. One type of vegetable is a natural diuretic that can help the kidneys to expel excess fluid. Skilton said, besides being added to food, celery can also be used as juice, which is an easier way to get rid of flatulence.
